Lost Keys

I walk through the trials and triumphs of life as it is to be,

But what is this in front of me?

A door locked oh so tightly,

And I can not find a single key.

I can not find the answer,

Nor a single door keeper.

And as it so often can occur,

I gave up on what the door could offer.

I walk away from this mysterious door,

And go to find something more.

Only to find nothing to live for,

Because what I searched for was behind the door.
