You walk along amongst the crowd,
Standing tall, being proud.
You have the world in the palm of your hand,
Being well known across the land.
Then the news comes and it's all that matters,
And slowly but surely, a piece of you shatters.
You try and avoid the crowd,
For you it is too loud.
You dropped the world from the palm of your hand,
Your personality now so bland.
The shards stab you full of pain,
And cut off your proud lion's mane.
You are alone away from the crowd,
But someone comes even though not allowed.
They gently take you by the hand,
Even if it means they will be banned.
They help up you up despite your despair,
And give you hope like a breath of fresh air.
