Christianity Gave Birth to America

Historically speaking, America was built upon the idealists of Christianity. So, whenever someone hates on Christians, aren't they then hating America as well? If you need examples, one really large one would be the Great Awakening, a movement of social and political reform, that swept the colonies and without some of its effects, there would be no Declaration of Independence or Constitution. One of these effects is people now wanted personnel liberty. This is because the view of the church changed so that all men were created equal in the eyes of God, thus, all men are equal in everyday life. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? And all this happened because people were being converted to Christianity and loving God. Without this change in the colonist's view, America might have stayed a part of Great Britain and the entire course of history changed. It is my belief that God put America here to give a peaceful place in the world and so that we can show the world a better tomorrow. Is America perfect? No, no it is not. Has America messed up? Yes, yes it has. In fact, we mess up a lot. But that's alright, because America still stands for freedom and justice, even through its misdeeds and hardships. Because God put us there. He may have used the founding fathers or any other important figure in history, but it was still Him.
