"Ba dum bum bum baaa!" You smacked Taehyung in the shoulder as eyes turned to look at you three.

"Nah, your voice is too deep." Jimin cleared his throat. "Let me try."

"Ji--"

"Ba dum bu--"

"Guys!" You laughed, shutting them up. They laughed too and the rest of the people in line really turned to look at you then. Just three kids standing in line at a McDonald's.

"I don't know what I wanna get," Tae sighed, looking up at the board. "Should I just get fries?"

"I'm gonna get an iced coffee," you mumbled, opening up your coin pouch. Taehyung wrinkled his nose. "What? It's so hot."

"That stuff's gross, y/n."

"It's delicious!" You turned to Jimin. "Whatcha gonna get?"

"I don't know-- I only have five dollars." He stared at the board with squinted eyes.

You sighed. "You need glasses, Jimin-- just tell your parents already."

"No way-- I'd look so stupid with glasses." You let out a sigh and Taehyung pressed into your shoulder as a few people tried to get past you all. You stood slightly in front of the boys to avoid crowding up the space.

"You shouldn't avoid getting glasses because you'll look stupid, Jiminie," Tae pointed out rationally. "If you need them, get them. Or else it might get worse."

"Easy for you to say. You don't need to wear glasses." You let out a yawn and leaned back into Taehyung. He smiled and let you. "And besides, I can get by 'till we graduate at least-- right?"

You looked back at Tae and you rolled your eyes at each other. "Right."

"Anyway-- me and Taehyungie are getting our suits after this, y/n."

Your eyebrows raised. "Your suits? For what?"

"Graduation?" Tae asked. "We're gonna be graduating middle school in, like, a month, y/n."

"I'll get fries," Jimin decided. "Can I go?" You and Tae nodded and Jimin headed up to order first. You turned back to Taehyung.

"So you guys are getting them today?" you asked. He nodded. "Oh."

"Do you have a dress to wear?"

You laughed a little. "I just realized we were actually graduating, Tae!" He chuckled and shoved his hands in his pockets. "I guess I should get a dress too, huh?"

"Yeah."

He let you go pay first and order your coffee. Once you'd done so, you joined Jimin in waiting. It took their fries a little while to come and you sipped on your coffee while waiting.

"What colour dress should I get?" Both boys shrugged.

"Maybe green-- that other dress at the dance was cool," Jimin suggested. You nodded slowly, considering it.

"Green."

"Or maybe purple?" Tae asked in a small voice. You looked at him as Jimin went to grab their fries as their numbers got called.

"Purple?"

"Yeah-- I already have a tie and it's purple." You grinned. "I think you'd look nice in purple."

Jimin handed Taehyung his fries and you walked out of the fast-food restaurant together. "Purple it is."
