The second play Rowan was in was Aladdin. It was performed when he was in year eight so he was surprised when he got the part of Jafar but stoked because Prince Ali Reprised is the coolest song in it. Micheal and Piper weren't in the play, although Rowan tried to get them involved. He was the only one who liked doing it.
Aladdin himself was played by a boy called Leon. He was a year above Rowan and the coolest kid in the show. And Jasmine was played by a girl in the same year as Leon called Yaz and the show was cool because the two were going out so they actually kissed at the end.

All the boys hung out in the prop room where they'd made their own changing room out of old backdrops and curtains.
There was Leon, Rowan, Yaz (none of the boys were changing so she came in), Ryan Hardy (a kid in year ten who played Genie), Gavin Blam (Iago), Grandma (that's her nickname, obviously) and Tony Tuoh (a year seven).
They sat in a circle on stools and boxes in their costumes and waited for Whibers to call them to warm up before the show.

"It didn't work last time, but we should hijack the play." Ryan said.
"Like I actually kill Aladdin?" Rowan smiled.
"Yea man." Leon laughed along.
"Then Genie's gonna come back and kill you." Ryan joked.
"Then I'll come in and dance on your graves, that'll be a good ending." Grandma added.
"No one can kill Genie!" Ryan said, exaggerating his smugness.
"Evaporate tall person." Rowan said in an american accent.
"Iagos gotta win." Ryan said, "It'll be the ultimate showdown and fucking Iago comes out on top."
"With a blood stained beak." Leon laughed.
"Lol." Gavin added, ironically because it added nothing.
Yaz was also there incase you forgot, she never said much.
This is when a water bottle fell over.
"Stop it Timothy!" Ryan yelled, making the other laugh.
"Who's Timothy?" Tony asked.
"It's what we called the ghost." Grandma explained.
"Oh c'mon, this place isn't haunted!" Tony argued.
"Take it from someone who's been here long enough. It's haunted." Ryan said.
"Can't you hear them?" Gavin asked.
"Ghosts aren't real." Tony sighed.
Rowan and Leon shared a smile.
"Ok everyone quiet." Leon said and everyone listened. "If there are any spirits here, please make yourself know." He said to the air.
A moment passed before Tony jumped in,
"See th-"
But he was interrupted by a faint,
"shhhh."
Everyone heard it and got chills.
"...I'm going." Tony said before quickly getting up and leaving the den.
"Aight, see ya man." Leon laughed.

But the rest left too and went into the connected studio to wait for Whibers. Grandma had rollerblades and fell on her bum, she kept the rollerblades on the whole show.

The performance went really well. There were forgotten lines here and there but jokes were always made from them and the audience would laugh along. Leon, Ryan and Rowan were having the times of their lives singing One Jump Ahead, Friend Like Me and Prince Ali Reprised respectively.

Once the show came to an end and the cast took their bows, Mr Principle came onto the stage as he always does and pretended to have any part in making it happen but everyone ignored him.
Leon announced all the teachers who actually helped and the cast all pitched in to get them all flowers or chocolates and they got christmas socks for Mr Mack (it's an inside joke).
Whibers came up to end the speeches.
"Thank you everybody, so much!" She said, beginning to tear up.
"And thank you Mrs Whibers." Mr Principle said, butting in, "As you know Mrs Whibers has helped our school put on these shows, and I believe you've done thirty one?"
"No no no, thirty." She corrected him, then pushed him away because he was getting boring.
"I'll let you get to singing and dancing in just a second," She said, "but I have to tell you that this will be my last show."
Everyone gasped and Whibers held back from crying.
"It's been such an honour being able to work with these amazing students year after year and I wish I could stay longer. If they paid me to just do this I'd do it forever but they don't, and my old heart can't take much more, so again, thank you so, so much! And enjoy the rest of the night!"
