(Tegans POV)

"Hey." I heard Bobby say leaning up against the locker next to mine. I took glanced over at him with a small smile and said,

"Hi. What's up."

"I just wanted to apologize." He said

"Oh?" I said intrigued as I closing my locker and turning to face him.

"Mainly for being a jerk. I just got so mad at Luke, for you know, recruiting you without talking to us first." He explained.

"I can understand that." I said. "You guys are doing a lot for me though."

"How so?" He asked.

"I feel like I haven't been living, you know? It's like every year of high school so far has been a blur of English papers and math tests. I've literally done nothing so far. So you guys just getting me out the house is great." I explained.

"Glad we can help. So you excited for this weekend?" He asked. God I was hoping he wasn't going to bring that up.

"Uh, I'm not really sure. I think so." I answered.

"Why do you sound unsure?" He asked.

"I really don't- I'm just scared, I guess. I don't want to mess things up." I explained.

"Scared to mess things up? What do you mean? Your way to talented for that!" He said surprised at my reasoning.

"Thank you but, I don't want to make you guys look bad. I know how amazing you guys are I just hope I can keep up." I said as we left my locker and headed down the hallway.

"Oh my god, don't worry about keeping up with us your going to be okay." He said.

"I hope so." I said softly.

[Lukes POV]

"Alex you know I could rock those drums just as good as you" Reggie said to as him as the four of us walked into history.

"I don't really know about that." Tegan said heading towards her seat. "Hey where you been haven't really seen you all morning." She asked sitting down behind me.

"I uh- spent the night at the garage again." I said. She looked at me apologetically and said,

"I'm sorry. Been there, I mean, not exactly there but I know it sucks." I nodded slowly.

"How excited are you for this weekend?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"God Bobby just asked me the same question." She replied. "He at least apologized to me though."

"Apologized for being a jerk? That's great! But you didn't answer the question." I asked again. She sighed and replied with,

"I don't know anymore, I think I'm excited." She replied softly.

"You don't know? What do you-"

"Alright everyone quiet down its time to get to work!" Mr. Clark yelled as the tardy bell rang.

"Can we talk later? I really just need to talk about it." She whispered.

"Of course we can." I whispered back.

I wasn't able to talk to her all day. What ever it was it seemed important so I was able to catch up to her after school on her way home.

"Tegan hey!" I called to her while she was standing at her locker after school was done.

"Hey." She replied.
