(Luke's POV)
"Okay when are we going to go?" Bobby complains. We were still standing outside the restaurant gig, because Alex had been talking with Jaden since Tegan left. "It has to have been at least an hour."
"Let Alex have his moment." Reggie says. "And it's literally been twenty minutes."
"Alex can have his moment. But I'm turning in for the night." Jack stood from the cement sidewalk. We had been waiting so long that a couple of us had turned to just sitting on the cold sidewalk. "He can tell me all about it later."
"I'm with you." Parker agrees.
"I'm about to go over there and break this up." Colin sighs, still on the ground. "Jaden's my ride."
"C'mon dude, I'll take you." Parker waves him down the sidewalk.
"Yes!" He quietly cheers, getting up from the ground and chasing them down the sidewalk.
"I just want to go home." Bobby groans.
"Alex is living is best life over there." I sat down on the cement next to Reggie, Bobby followed. "Lets let him."
"Talk about living a best life, I was so happy for Tegan." Reggie adds.
"Yeah, she was so worried about her mom, and she seemed to have taken it really well." I said. "I am really happy for her. I don't want what I have for her. My kinda parents I mean."
"I can't believe I didn't notice that you liked her sooner." He shakes his head. "It took all the way up to you guys actually getting together for me to put the pieces together."
"That's where you and I differ." Bobby finally sat down on the cement with us. "I could see it from both ways. Happy for you though." The way he said that last sentence didn't sit right with me.
"Why do you say it like that?" I ask after hesitating a minute. "Happy for you though? What does that mean?"
"Nothing, just saying I'm happy for you." He shrugged. "I mean you gotta admit, you got yourself a pretty hot girlfriend."
"Whoa! Sorry, what?" I asked, loud enough I saw it pulled Alex's attention. "And what does that mean?"
"Just saying, she's hot." He chuckles, as if nothing was wrong. "Is that weird?"
"You saying that, especially right to my face?" I asked rhetorically. "A little weird. And in my opinion, a little messed up."
"Yeah Bobby, I'd have to agree." Reggie says. "You feeling alright dude?"
"Yeah, why would you ask?" Bobby smirks, taking a drink from his water bottle.
"Yeah, let me take a look at that." I snatched the bottle out of his hand, bringing it closed to my face, immediately noticing the smell of alcohol. "Are you kidding me?"
"What?" Reggie asked. I passed him the bottle so he could smell it too. "Seriously?"
"How'd you get this?" I refused to hand the bottle back to him. "You were fine at the start of the night."
"The really cute bartender that I talked to during intermission said I looked close enough to twenty one." He smiles.
"Okay, I'm not opposed to a little bit of fun either, but on the night of a show this big?" I asked as Alex rejoined our trio. "Seriously? Last time this happened Reggie ended up breaking that new shelf in Jacks store."
"What happened?" Alex asked.
"Bobby got the bartender to slip him a few drinks during intermission." I glared at him.
