[Lukes POV]

The final notes from my guitar were ringing through the restaurant after finishing 'Crooked Teeth'. We stood in our spots, absorbing the applause. Tegan looked around with a smile on her face, it told me and the rest of the guys how much she really loves this.

Tegan had walked back to the side of the stage and picked up one of our white sunset curve t-shirts and walked back to the stage, front and center, holding the shirt up to the crowd. The crowd cheered once again. She scanned the crowd and noticed a group of teenagers. She pointed to them as they jumped and cheered. She waded up the shirt in a ball and tossed it to the group, the girl who caught it held it up and cheered. Tegan waved smiling at her, she then turned and followed the rest of us off the stage.

"Wow you guys are amazing!" The stage manager who met us at the front door said as we came off stage.

"Thank you." Tegan said.

"So there's probably not a lot of food left," Alex and Reggie perked up at the mention of food. "since you guys were our last act of the night, but go through that door right over there," the lady said. "And there's our catering buffet we make all of acts. Feel free to eat whatever is there, and we don't close for another two hours so have fun."

"Thank you." Reggie and Alex said running off towards the room. The girl looked over her shoulder and watched them run.

"They just love food, but thank you so much." Bobby said as we walked towards them.

"There's still a whole two pizzas!" We heard Reggie yell.

"What is with this man and Pizza," Tegan asked as we walked.

"Tegan! Oh my god there's brownies!" Alex screamed. She broke into a run,

"Bye losers!" She yelled.

We came into the room to see six fold up tables lining the wall, full of everything from, pizza, cookies, breadsticks, hot dogs, sliders, French fries, brownies, water bottles, coke, and more.

"Wow." I said shutting the door. "These are left overs?"

"Don't question it, just enjoy it." Tegan said falling next to Alex on the couch with a overflowing plate of food.

"Hey I'm not questioning it." I said taking the plate Bobby was handing me. "We should come play here again this place is great."

"Yeah better than that book club you decided to drag us to?" Tegan said.

"Okay, yes but hey, they had great food to." I said in defense "The people there just didn't care about us." We all dug in to our food. After a while, Tegan got up for a drink. When she sat back down on the couch, she sat next to the arm, running her hand over the top of my guitar case leaning up against the arm. I was the first to notice her expression, which seemed kinda down, but she looked like she was thinking about something.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked. She turned her attention to me. "You look like your thinking about something.

"Nothing, I was just wondering, how long have you guys been doing this. Like how long have you guys been a band?" She asked.

"Started freshman year, but we didn't really start taking it seriously until about a year ago." I answered, "why do you ask?" She sighed and though about it for a while,

"I just wish I had started this earlier, I mean started playing earlier, writing, singing, something." She said. "This is one of the best things that's ever happened to me you know."

"Yeah totally, we all get it. It's your escape right?" Alex asked. She nodded. "That's what it is for us too."

"I just can't stop thinking about what I would of done in the past if I had been doing something like this all this time. If I would of been happier. I don't know, it's just been something I can't seem to get off my mind lately." She explained.
