(Lukes POV)
This was one of our bigger shows and we knew by the second we walked in. Tegan quickly spotted her sister, I always forget how they look so much alike. The only major difference is Sara has a much lighter hair color.
I spotted Jack there too, at a table near Sara. With his Polaroid again. He had apparently taken up the role of our personal paparazzi.
The five of us were backstage waiting for out time to go on. Tegan was in a corner shaking out the nerves like she normally does.
"Hey you okay?" I asked coming over. "You look more nervous than normal."
"Oh no, really I'm fine." She answers. I could tell she was actually telling the truth though. "I just want to make sure this performance is good. With my sister here."
"You're gonna do great. In rehearsal your notes in Heart Attack have sounded so good." I said.
"Thanks." She smiles. "Nice necklace where'd you get it?"
"Yeah a friend gave it to me, looks just like yours." I smirked back. "Bring it in?"
"Let's do it." She answers stepping forward. "Alright boys let's bring it in. Let's do this."
"Sunset Curve on three?" I suggest.
"One, two, three, Sunset Curve."
We waited in the wings while the group before us was on, Tegan stood next to me. I grabbed the guitar pick on my necklace holding it towards her. She grabbed hers, touching it to mine. Almost like our version of a high five, before we stepped on stage with the others and jumped right into 'Never Be'
All: Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh. Oh-oh-oh-oh. Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh. Oh-oh-oh-oh.
Tegan: I need your love to light up this house, I wanna know what you're all about
Luke: I wanna feel you, feel you tonight. I wanna tell you that it's alright
Tegan: I need your love to guide me back home. When I'm with you, I'm never alone. (She had taken her mic of her stand already, crouching at the front of the stage in line with her sister)

Luke/Tegan: We'll never be us young as we are now. It's time to leave this old black and white town

Luke/Tegan: let's run away
Tegan: Don't let the colors fade to grey
