I walked over to a table and sat on it, oblivious to the sounds around me. Little by little the rest of the team came in, sending worried looks my way. Once I caught the sound of typing I managed to clue in on the conversation around me. For a second, I saw Dex standing in front of the computer like he was at Nobody's place but it's not him. It's never gonna be him again.

"Anything?" my uncle asked.

"No. They're gone now and DOD confirmed it was a nuclear football that they stole. He's got a fully functional EMP and nuclear launch codes now. I don't know what it is but they're building towards something big." Little Nobody said.

"What about ... do you know ... D ... ?" I asked.

"Deckard?" Hobbs asked for me.

"He didn't make it." Little Nobody said softly, looking away from me.

A sob escaped my lips as I walked away, wrapping my arms around my waist. I didn't think I'd be going through this type of pain because of Dom again and it's double because Dom killed him and Dex is dead-dead. How am I supposed to keep myself sane? I walked to the room and curled into a ball on the bed, inhaling his scent that lingered on the sheets. It's all I have left of him.

My cell phone ringing woke me up out of the sort of half asleep half awake nap I was taking. I considered not picking up but the number is weird as hell and curiosity is better than this debilitating pain in my heart. I let the curiosity win, it felt good to feel something else that masks the pain for a little bit.

"Who are you and what do you want?" I demanded.

"Kay ..."

"What the hell do you want? How dare you ..."

"I need you to listen to me." Dom said.

"You've got some serious balls calling me right now asking for anything." I growled.

"Kaylee, you need to listen."

"I don't need to do a damn thing but shoot you."

"I understand that but you do need to listen to me."

"I'm hanging up, screw ..."

"He's alive." he quickly stated.

"Fuck you, Toretto." I whispered, feeling the pain of his loss all over again.

"I swear on Jack and Brianna that he's alive. He's been in on my plan for a small period of time. I had Mr. Nobody bring him in. He's alive." Dom insisted.

"I don't believe you. Screw you." I said, losing all of the anger and curiosity, my voice cracking at the end.

"Kay, I need to make this quick. I need your help if we're gonna end this."

"I'm gonna end it alright and there's no fucking way I'm helping you."

"Listen, if you want to see him again soon, I'll have Nobody tell him to text you, or even call you. Please, I need your help and Deckard's to save my son." he said, shocking the hell out of me.

"I'm sorry, save your what?" I asked, feeling really confused.

"My son, Elena had my son and Cipher has them both on her plane. She kidnapped them before she could tell me Kay and I don't have much time. We think she's gonna try to contact you and take advantage of your grief. We need you to play into it. I'm not on that plane but I need someone I trust there. Kaylee, I'm sorry that you had to see that but we planned it, all of it, he was wearing a vest and the bullets were rubber. I'm so sorry, but we need your help." Dom pleaded. "My son's life depends on it."
