I'm no doctor but I did the best that I could to clean her up. I was able to pull out the bullet and did my best to save her life. Let's see how that works for the time being.

"Elena please, I need you to wake up. Te lo prometo que yo lo cuido por ahora, but I need you to wake up. I promise, I'll get you both out of here, even if it's the last thing I do." I sighed, walking over to the crib. "You know kid, you're a handsome little one, just like your dad. Don't tell him I said that, he'll get a bigger head."

With more tears in my eyes that I refused to let fall, I swayed back and forth like I used to do with Jack, and thankfully he fell asleep after fussing a little. This poor little boy, so little time on this earth and he's gone through so many horrible things already. Kidnapped, his mom was shot right in front of him, his dad's a rogue asshole. Thankfully he's too young to remember any of this, he's too young to be involved in any of this, it's not fair. Elena doesn't deserve to be a pawn in Cipher's game and I'll make sure that she pays for that as well. I sat on the bed and laid him down next to me, just watching him. Hell, I don't even know his name!

Dom has a son, he did ... he's doing all of this for his son's safety. I get it, I can empathize with it but all of this extra crap just is too much. He could've told us from the get go instead of bringing people in as he went. We could've helped him and avoided half of the crap that he's done but no, he didn't ... did he really not trust us to help him? There are just so many questions and no answers, which just drives me fucking insane.

Hours later I could feel the place descending and I could only imagine it's getting close to go time. Someone actually came to check on Elena who still hasn't opened her eyes. That's worrying me a little but I have other things to worry about. The lady that was watching the baby prior to this stood in the corner of the room and while she doesn't hit me as a necessarily mean person, more afraid, I don't trust anyone that works with Cipher. I took a small nap in that time and it helped me clear my mind a little. Clear my thoughts and feelings about what needs to be done. What little I could sleep, which really wasn't much, all I could see behind my closed eyes was Dex's crumpled, bloody body.

Leaving the baby with the sitter, I grabbed my bag and took off for a shower after getting permission, of course. I changed into something a little more comfortable and warm because it's really fucking cold here and I hate it; a pair of jeans with a striped light blue and white sweater, a pair of brown boots and leg warmers. Hair went up in a messy tail just to keep it out of my face while I work. I gave the baby a warm bath and put some warm pajamas on him before wrapping him up in a blanket. As soon as the plane landed I put the drowsy baby in his crib.

"Kaylee?"

"Elena! Thank God." I muttered, running over to the bed.

"What happened?" she asked in a whisper.

"You were shot ... twice." I said, grabbing a bottle of water. "Here ... slowly now ... good, that's it."

"How are ... you here?" she whispered.

"Cipher recruited me too ... it's complicated." I said, looking over to the babysitter lady.

"I don't understand." she said, nodding her head softly, almost imperceptibly.

"Let's leave it like that for now."

"Where's my baby?" she asked.

"Calm down, he's okay. I bathed him and he's asleep in his crib. No, no, no ... you need to stay here. No sudden movements, I'm not a surgeon and this was a hasty patch up job." I said.

"You ..."

"A graze on the side of your head and one to your side. I did the best that I can."

"Obrigado." she sighed, gingerly laying back down. (thank you)

"De nada." I replied. (you're welcome)

Suddenly we heard a beeping sound and I assume that's for me. I took the baby out of the crib and laid him by Elena's side.

"Watch them with your life, or it'll cost you your life." I told the lady before walking out of the room, watching as the doors quickly slid shut.

Thankfully it wasn't that difficult to remember the way. There were cameras everywhere and I know for a fact that Cipher's watching my every move so I made sure not to stray. Waiting in front of the door I looked up at the camera and smiled, waiting for them to open the damn thing. She was standing in front of a large table, nice toy.

"That didn't take too long." she said, a smirk on her face.

"I can remember my way around, it's the only other place I need to be. Who is she?" I asked and she knew who I was referring to.

"A very well trained babysitter. He'll be in good hands, although I did see that mommy's awake. You did good work." she said.

"What's the next step?" I asked.

"Dominic is supposed to get into the Naval Base and remotely allow us to take over the submarine. He'll use the EMP to shut everything down and you will do the computer work to manually override."

"Sounds like fun. Where the hell are we, anyway?"

"Russia." she smiled.

"Thank God I'm inside." I huffed before sitting down in front of a computer. "I'm gonna make you my bitch."
