"Dex ..." I whispered, still not turning around.

"Kaylee, I'm right here love." he said and I felt his hand on my shoulder, making me jolt.

With a shaking hand, I put my hand on my shoulder and jumped up when I felt his hand under mine. I swirled around and wrapped my arms around his neck, breathing his cologne in. I sort of can't believe it, I didn't want to believe Dom just in case he was fucking with me but here he is. He's standing right in front of me, safe and alive.

"Dex ..."

"Kaylee, I'm ..."

"You're here." I muttered, placing my hands on his cheeks.

"I'm here and I'm alive." he smiled.

"You're alive ... you bastard! I thought you were dead! He shot you in front of me!" I argued, walking away from him.

"I know, it was all part of the plan but we've got to go now, doll. There are things that still need to be done. I'll explain everything later, I promise." he said.

"You're here and alive." I whispered, a few tears falling.

"I'm here and alive and with you, the only place that I want to be."

With a sob I threw myself into his arms. I threw myself at him and he caught me. He fucking caught me! He's really alive and here with me.

"You idiot." I sobbed as I kissed him.

"I know, I love you darling and I'm here with you. Now, what the hell are you doing here? What's going on?" he asked.

"Dom." I said.

"Of course."

"Cipher offered me Dom on a silver platter for 'killing' you."

"Would you have taken the shot?" he asked.

"There are things that still need to be done, Dex. Let's go do them." I said.

"This conversation isn't over."

"Whatever, she's alive but she's unconscious and ..."

"She's alive?" he asked. "Dom said she ..."

"The bullet grazed her head and another hit her side, they made him believe that she was dead. I did the best I could but it's a rough patch up job. What now?" I asked.

"We'll figure it out. We've got to get to Cipher and then we'll come back for Elena. I'll get the five of us off of this plane."

"Five?"

"My brother is here."

"You ... your ... what?"

"There's a lot to explain love, but now isn't the time." he said softly, cupping my cheek.

"Right, we need to go."

"I want you to stay with them and ..."

"Don't even think about it." I argued.

"Okay, let's take the baby and we'll come back for her when it's over." he said.

"Sounds like a plan. Let's do this." I sighed.

I turned around and put the baby into the travel seat and stood next to Deckard, something I didn't think was going to be possible ever again. He placed a pair of headphones on the baby's head while I looked at him, questioning his sanity.

"Alright governor, it's gonna get noisy. This is for your ears, good?" he pressed the volume up on his watch while talking to the baby, playing music I guess.

"Aren't you the cutie?" I asked.

"Don't mention it, let's go love." he said, taking my hand in his and kissing my knuckles.

There's no time for questions right now, we've gotta get out of here and I'm damn sure there's gonna be a lot of opposition. Cipher will not want us to get off of this plane and she's gotta know that he's here already. With a quick kiss we prepared to leave the room with Deckard in front of me, of course. He pressed something on his watch suddenly before we could leave.

"I got the package Toretto, all twelve pounds of him." Dex said.

"Yeah, that's not something I ever imagined." I smiled.

"Me either but here we are. Alright little man, it might be scary, but ..."

"It's gonna be a lot of fun." I finished for him.

"God, I love you woman." he said, pressing a kiss to my forehead.

"Be careful, one scare was more than enough."

"Once we get out, stay behind ... right, opposite me. The first chance you get, you go to the opposite side of the room and we'll meet at the end." he said.

"Let's go baby." I smiled again.

Dex had a tight grip on the car seat while we waited for the door to open. As soon as it did, he turned and elbowed the first guy waiting for us. I grabbed the extra gun from the waistband of his jumpsuit and shot at the three guys standing behind him.

"How's the music, good?" I heard him ask the baby.

"We gotta get moving." I said, nudging him.

"I know."

He motioned 1 and then pointed behind me, then 2 and pointed behind himself. I understood immediately so I shot behind him and he behind me before moving out of our temporary hiding spot. There wasn't much for me to do since he honestly wouldn't let me even though he's holding the baby. He kept a tight hold on the car seat and whooped major ass while doing so.

I did my best to have his back, take care of whoever I could and hell, we all know I just like to shoot people. There were a few close calls, I won't lie, but Dex and I are a force to be reckoned with. Once my gun ran out of bullets all I could do was watch the baby while he did his thing. Right when I thought it was over, another guy came out behind me and we started grappling. Dex was going to intervene but I didn't let him.

"Go! Go ... get her!" I shouted as I fought with a man twice my size.

It took me a few minutes, painful minutes, but I managed to snap his neck. I ran into the main room just as Cipher flew out of the room and I flew over the table after her. Not to grab her, no, to prevent the car seat from flying out after her. Dex came and hit the close button and I just laid flat on my back, breathing hard.
