"Are you okay?" he asked, pulling me off the floor so fast it made me dizzy.

"Slow down, Jesus, got dizzy for a second." I said, leaning my head against his chest.

"Kaylee ..." he sighed, tipping my head up with his index finger.

"Hi, Mr. Shaw." I sighed softly.

"Hello love."

"Let's go home." I sighed, pressing my lips against his.

"Owen, tell them to land." he said, wrapping his arms around me.

"I love you." I whispered against his lips.

"I love you too."

"Deckard, don't you ever pull some bullshit like that on me again. Do you understand me?" I demanded, punching him in the shoulder that got jarred while he was fighting.

"Point taken, damn it Kaylee. Now, what the hell are you doing here?" he asked as we walked out of the room.

"I bet my story isn't as long as yours." I laughed.

"Let's sit down for storytime." he said, looking at the baby.

"You first."

"Toretto contacted my mum and me to help him with this plan."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"He told me not to. Neither of us planned on you following me that way, your reaction sold the farse even more so we decided not to tell you. Toretto didn't tell me he was going to bring you in on it. They were obviously blanks and the paramedics were friends of his, mum was waiting for me inside to wake me up if needed. Liquid adrenaline is quite the alarm clock. After that, I had to get Owen and ..."

"How the hell did you get Owen?" I interrupted.

"Mr. Nobody has been in on this from the beginning." he smiled.

"Of course he has, he's in on everything." I muttered, shaking my head.

"He helped me get Owen out and the suits, the weapons, on the premise that he couldn't escape and I'd take full responsibility for him. I didn't want to bring him in but mum is a terrible influence and an amazing actress. We found the plane with Dom's tracking chip."

"The cross, that's why his chain is hanging outside the prison room." I told him.

"That damn thing doesn't just die." he grumbled.

"Apparently not. I still can't believe that you're here."

"Why are you here?" he asked.

"Cipher called me and offered Dom up."

"You were going to kill Toretto?" he asked in shock.

"We'll never know because Dom called me first. I was sorely tempted to shoot him and hang up but he pulled out the baby card. He told me you were alive even though I didn't believe him but the baby ... he wouldn't lie about something like that. He told me he'd have you contact me."

"Bastard never mentioned it." he growled.

"Well, we've all been busy." I said.

"Would you have been able to do it?"

"If he really did kill you ... I think I might have, but I guess we'll just never know now."

"What about Letty?"

"I would've taken her on if I had to. For a while, he broke me in a way I didn't know was possible. When I saw you fall, when you hit the ground ... it was worse than when he broke my heart the first time. I don't know how I would've been able to get over it. I don't think there was a way to come back from it a second time." I admitted.
