KAYLEE'S POV
"Hello Kaylee." the woman of the hour smugly said after about an hour or so.
"Finally, you sure like to keep a girl waiting." I replied.
"I had some other business to attend to." she said with a small smile.
The smugness on this bitch is something I can't wait to erase. I've gotta get to the baby, that's all that matters to me. That and seeing Dex, if Dom is lying to me I swear that I will put a bullet in him.
"Listen, I'm going against everything that I am to help you here. All I want is Toretto on a silver fucking platter once whatever this is - is over. I don't care about what you're doing, I don't care about your reasons for doing it. Just tell me what you want me to do, when I have to do it, and then tell me when it's over." I stated.
"I really am sorry for your loss but everything that you're feeling right now, that rage and that sense of loss, it's not real. It's a survival instinct wired deep into our brains to ensure continuation of species. When early men went to visit a watering hole, if they didn't watch their child they got snatched by a crocodile. Their brains would create a painful but instructional memory so it will never happen again. This idea of family that is so core with you, that rules your world, it's a biological lie. You don't have to accept it, I know I don't."
"That's touching, it really is. Quite sweet and moving, I might even shed a tear. How many others have heard this in the name of whatever cause you were working on before?" I asked.
"A few others, none that have called me out on it. That's why I like you Kaylee, you have fire in your veins, not gas and you use it." she said, a smile on her face.
"Save the praise and I'll save the sob story. Tell me what you want from me and let me get over it." I sighed, leaning back against the wall.
"I heard you don't want to see Toretto but you want him to know that you're here." she said, ignoring my request again.
"You heard right, just make sure I don't see him."
"Noted, follow me ... this will be your playroom for the time being ..."
Cipher took a few minutes to introduce me to the team, such a Martha Stewart hostess, so sweet and gracious, then she told me where everything was. After my insistence, she told me to make sure the coast was clear for Dom no matter what and I was to instruct her if anything seemed off. Her people are here to make sure that I'm not playing for both teams since I alone can do what four of them can.
"You're a very capable person, I sure hope you don't try to play me. It won't end nicely." she said.
"I won't, I want something that you have so it's in my best interest to play along with your rules for now. That is until they aren't convenient for me anymore."
"They will be right up until the end. This will be the beginning of a very fruitful relationship." she said with a smile that screams homicidal maniac.
"Alright boys, let's get down to business. We've got a sub to track down." I told them, turning my back on Cipher and flexing my fingers before going to work.
We worked for a few hours before finding any credible leads but I found them. I can't help but think of them; Dom, Dex, Elena, and the baby. This plane is massive so I can only imagine where Dom, Elena, and the baby are. Obviously not together because Cipher is a crazy-ass bitch so I know she'll want to make him suffer. With her standing guard behind me, it's not like I can go try and find them. I completely ignored her though and began to hatch my own plan in my head. I know what I would like to do but I also know what needs to be done. I've got a little bit of time to figure out the logistics, I just need to be alone to act on them. Which is still probably not gonna happen because there are bound to be cameras everywhere.
