"Dex . . . Deckard, babe, are you okay?" I asked, trying to shove the door away from him with my feet.

The attempt was futile because it didn't even budge a bit but I can't sit here and do nothing while he's in pain.

"Stop it . . . Kay, love stop it. You're going to hurt yourself." he groaned.

"Are you okay?" I repeated.

"I'm just peachy." he replied.

"Drop the sarcasm . . . I need help over here!" I shouted.

It took eight men to lift the door since Hobbs isn't at full strength yet either. As soon as they pulled it up and completely off of him, I was right there next to him, making sure that he wasn't badly injured. My shoulder is on fire right now and it's sort of tingling. This isn't something that I've had happen before and it isn't something that I wish to happen again.

"Really love, I'm ok. Just a tad banged and bruised, are you okay? That's the real question here. I pushed you a bit hard, I'm so sorry." he said, gently cradling my face.

"I hit my shoulder but I'm okay." I replied.

"You need to have that looked at."

"Not right now . . . you need to be checked and I need someone to tell me what the hell just happened here?" I asked, raising my voice just a little.

It took about another 45 minutes for everyone to start regaining their senses, mostly because at least I'm still a bit disoriented. As soon as things felt normal enough to be functional, it was back to work. My shoulder is starting to swell and the spasms are fucking me up but I can concentrate through them. I just stood there, leaning back on Dex's chest.

"You okay?" Hobbs asked Letty.

"That wasn't him . . . I don't know what she's got on him but that wasn't Dom." she answered.

"Brian would know what to do." Roman suddenly said.

"Like I don't?" I angrily asked, stepping over to him but Letty grabbed me.

"That's not what I . . ."

"No! We can't bring Brian and Mia into this." Letty argued.

"We agreed on that, on leaving them alone." I added.

"I know." he muttered in response.

"What the hell are we gonna do now? This is fucking crazy, why would he do this?" I asked.

"How's your shoulder?" Dex asked.

"What about your shoulder?" Hobbs and Tej asked.

"It just . . . nothing."

Dex walked over and poked my shoulder. I cringed away and glared at him, a horrible pain now throbbing down my side.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?" I demanded.

"Dislocated." they both said.

"I'm fine." I huffed.

"I'll call the par . . ."

"No." I interrupted my uncle.

"You need to get that looked at." Hobbs argued.

"Dex . . ." I said, giving him a look.

"Kaylee, love, it's going to be more painful that way." he said, sighing.

"Kay, just let the paramedics to . . ."

"No Hobbs, I'm doing it my way. Just do it." I told Dex.

He walked up to me, looking me straight in the eyes making those butterflies come back again. Trapped, I'm trapped in his eyes and I don't want to be released.
