In Zeke Jeager's short lifetime, he had been known by many different nicknames. Marley's golden boy, child prodigy and beast just to name a few. But never once had he been called jealous. It had actually come off as a bit of an insult.

Zeke had been sitting off on the sidelines when someone approached him. It was a middle aged man whose arm was wrapped in a red band. An honorary Marleyan, just like Zeke.

"What's got you looking so jealous?" asked the Honorary Marleyan.

Zeke let out a small cough, "excuse me?"

"Ah, it must be a girl." the Honorary Marleyan's eyes scanned the room, "which one is it?"

"I think you might be mistaken, Sir."

Despite Zeke's attempt to change the conversation, the middle aged man continued, "the one with the ginger hair? Hm, no, too ditzy. You seem to be more into intelligent girls. How about that brown haired one? Or maybe the (h/c) haired-"

Zeke cut the middle aged man off, "I'm sorry Sir, but I don't think we should be discussing personal matters here."

"So it's the (h/c) haired one, huh?" The Honorary Marleyan directed his gaze to the (h/c) haired girl and her current partner, "(Y/n) (L/n), she's such a sweetheart. It's a shame that she had to inherit her father's Titan. And that young lad with her is the... Jaw Shifter? You know, over my years of seeing the different Shifters I've noticed that the users of those two forms tend to grow closer after their first transformation."

The War Chief gave a plastered sort of smile, "I don't quite know what you're trying to get at, Sir."

"Silly me, call me Mr. Elliot. My sister Hazel was the Armored Titan three generations ago."

Now up until this moment, Zeke had been trying his best to act civil while simultaneously hinting to the older man, Mr. Elliot, that he had no desire to converse with him. There were plenty of older people who were Honorary Marelyans and Zeke never really felt the need to converse with them.

To him, they were just people who got lucky or people who forced their children to take on a role of responsibility.

This little snippet of information had intrigued Zeke though. While there were many people who lived long enough to see the different Shifters, there weren't many that actually knew any Shifters personally.

As an Honorary Marelyan, Mr. Elliot was more likely than others to know about the different Titan Shifters. He was young when his sister had inherited her Titan and as a result, he would get to meet various different generations of Shifters.

"Were you very familiar with the late Mr. (L/n)?" Asked Zeke.

"Of course!" Mr. Elliot smiled proudly, "all of Maemi's successors are friends of mine."

"Maemi? Not to be rude but I'm certain you said your sister's name was Hazel."

"Oh, silly me! I assumed that you would know the names of all your predecessors like Miss. (Y/n). Hazel was my sister but it was her best friend Maemi that I was close with. Maemi was a Crystal Shifter." explained Mr. Elliot.

"I didn't realize. I can only see as far back as my predecessor's predecessor." Zeke informed, "I have heard that Crystal Shifters are a lot more connected to their predecessors though."

"What about Crystal Shifters?" A newcomer asked.

Mr. Elliot smiled brightly at the newcomer, "(Y/n), darling! I was wondering when you'd finally rear your pretty little head this way."

"Oh, Mr. Elliot! I didn't know you'd be coming! You should've told me, then you wouldn't have to resort to conversing with people like Mr. Scruffy, blonde and brooding." (Y/n) gestured to the War Chief that stood across from her. "I hope Zeke hasn't caused you too much trouble."
