Year 850
Night of Porco's Inheritance
Porco had never really considered himself to be someone who easily gave in to other people's demands. Sure, while the idea of a Warrior who didn't conform to the commands of others was rather paradoxical, Porco liked to think that if others tried to make too big of a decision for him, he wouldn't allow it to happen.
Partaking in Marley's Warrior Program was, what Porco liked to believe, ultimately his decision.
Yes, there were a lot of outside factors that contributed to him participating in the training sessions used to find potential shifters, but at the end of the day he was the one who decided to fight.
Several years ago, when it had been Reiner to inherit the Armoured Titan rather than himself, Porco made a promise that he would prove his worth. He promised himself that he would never again allow himself to fall behind, and that when the time came for him to take up arms he would do it flawlessly and with confidence. He would prove that if it had been himself who had gone to the island as the Armoured Titan, the mission wouldn't have...
It wouldn't have gone so wrong.
Porco, a little impatient to be kept waiting so long, began inspecting the strange clothes he currently wore.
It was nothing special; just a simple white shirt and pants to match.
White. Such a pure and clean colour. He figured it to be rather ironic that both himself and the current Jaw Titan Shifter, Ymir he believed, wore it. He was certain that 'pure and clean' was anything but what described the female.
It was difficult to understand why, after the five year mission across the sea, it wasn't his brother who returned to the island as the holder of the Jaw Titan, but a seemingly random and insignificant brunette.
Marcel was supposed to be the strongest! And yet, he was apparently gone before the mission had even really started.
A flurry of emotions suddenly overcame the male. He wasn't sure if it was due to the resentment which had been boiling up inside of him, or if it was due to the fact that he was undergoing the transformation.
His entire body boiled, screaming out in pain as the entire world around him darkened.
For a while, there was darkness. No matter how hard Porco tried to open his eyes, no light seemed to bubble to the surface.
Every part of himself strained for sensations. He wanted something.
Needed anything!
He needed to make sure that he was still alive.
"Did you live a good life, Ymir?"
The darkness which once held Porco captive suddenly scattered. Very quickly, Porco found himself sitting across from (Y/n) in a room he'd never been in before.
Porco opened his mouth to reply, but the words he spoke were not his own. "I was a goddess for others. I was someone people could look to when they wanted to ease their own suffering. I kept myself standing tall for the sake of others. When my second chance came around, I was selfish and did everything for the sake of myself... until I didn't. I devoted myself to someone else. In my many years of living, I realised that the one thing that always told me I was alive was when I was living for someone else."
"Living for someone else..." (Y/n) quietly mumbled.
Very quickly, Porco realised that the person sitting across from (Y/n) wasn't himself, but the person who used to be the holder of the Jaw Titan.
