Chapter 6. The Procedures

“But are these procedures safe?” Alex asked again for the tenth times.
“Alex the doctor has already told us that this is the least intrusive procedure for the heart.” Peter grabbed Alex’s hand and kissed it. Peter is ready for the procedures, but Alex is not.
Emma just chuckled and she kissed Peter’s head. “Good luck, baby..”
“He needs luck?!” Alex’s eyes started to get bigger. “Pete, do you need luck for this?”
“I mean, luck is never a bad thing, right?” Peter smiled.
“So this is dangerous?” Alex was trying to hold back his tears.
“Baby, calm down. I’ll be fine. I love you. Now you stay here with Emma and I will go to the procedure’s room. Okay?” Peter pulled Alex over and kissed him one last time. He told the nurse to take him away after that.
Alex sits quietly next to Emma. He is fidgety and restless. So Emma started to have some conversation. “Alex, look at me.. He will be fine..” Emma said.
“Em.. Did he tell you months ago about this?” Alex asked.
“Does that matter?” Emma looked at Alex.
“I mean.. Yes.. It means you are more important than I am.” Alex closed his eyes.
“He only told me before you, because we have two kids together, you know..” Emma pulled Alex closer and hold him.
“Look, he loves you more than anything else in this world. So, please stop worrying about anything else. He did not want to tell you because he does not want to see you sad. That is all, please stop overthinking it. Okay?” Emma landed  soft kisses on Alex’s forehead.
“You know he wants me to go to a professional dom during his bed rest. I really don’t understand what he wants, Em. Does he even want me at all?” Alex rubbed his face against Emma’s shoulder.
“You and Peter are the same you keep doubting how much you love each other. Believe me, okay?” Emma smiled.

“Not much, we’re just dating like  normal person unlike you and Peter.” Emma laughed.

Emma pushed away Alex after a while. She felt guilty. “Alex.. We should wait for Peter..”

Alex crawled on top of Peter and kissed him. “I love you..”
“You know, we can have sex again soon..” Peter smiled.
“Pete, why don’t you want the threesome?” Alex asked for the tenth times.
“You could have sex with her. I don’t mind.” Peter kissed Alex.

Peter sighed. He owes it to Alex to answer. “I can’t. I love you, not her.”

Peter pulled himself out of the hug. “I want to have sex with you, though. Not a scene, just sex..” Peter put his hand on Alex’s face.
“When?” Alex grinned.
“I thought you were taking me to the park?” Peter pulled Alex over and kissed his soft lips.
“After park?” Alex smirked.
“In the bathtub and I’m riding you..” Peter smiled.
“Can we just skip the park?” Alex smiled too.

They went to a park a few blocks away, the park has a 1.2 mile loop so they will do two loops. Peter used to run with Alex there, but now they are just walking. He asked Jack to calm down and sit down. Peter poured some drinks for them.
“Look Jack, I’m sorry for punching you. But Alex is my fiancé. I can’t let you hurt him.” Peter settles down next to Jack on the sofa.
“Well, your fiancé is an asshole!” Jack was still angry. “Why didn’t you do anything? Aren’t you mad about this??”
Peter opened his mouth but decided to swallow his words. He sighed. “Look, I cheated on Emma with Alex. I can’t judge Emma or Alex for doing that to me. I know you do not deserve this, I mean you don’t deserve to be inside our mess up life. But, Emma, probably the best thing that could happen to you. She is perfect.” Peter drinks some of his alcohol. His doctor doesn’t allow him to drink, but he is as frustrated as Jack.
“So you just decide Emma and Alex can do whatever they want to do? Even though it upsets you?” Jack asked.
“I’m not saying that. But I just can’t say anything because they deserve someone better than I am..” Peter sighed. He rubbed his face. “I’m a horrible man, Jack..”
“Well, I think Alex is the bad one. You are just.. Gullible? I don’t know.. I feel like Emma and Alex are taking advantage of your guilt. I mean you were on a delicate procedure and they fuck on your room.” Jack took a few sips of the drink.
“Jack, I’ve known them for a decade. I love them and they love me, they are not taking advantage of me. And I know you think I should be angry, but I’m not.” Peter rubbed Jack’s back.
“So I should just forgive Emma?” Jack sighed. “She fucked your fiancé, man..”
“I was there, Jack. Look, Emma is a great woman, I should have never cheated on her.” Peter stood up. “I’m going to take care of my fiancé. Please talk with Emma. I know she loves you.”
Peter walked out. He found Alex still crying on Emma’s shoulder. So he grabbed his wrist and pulled him to the bedroom. He locked the room after that.
“I don’t know if I should have a scene with you or not. But I am going to do it. I want to punish you for being such a naughty man..” Peter sighed.
“Jack is really upset, isn’t he? I’m sorry.. I didn’t mean to hurt you or Jack. I’m sorry…”Alex sobbed.
“Take off your clothes and kneel there.” Peter pointed at the spot.
Alex took off his clothes and followed Peter’s instructions. He wiped his tears one last time. Peter opened their play box and grabbed some rope. He started to tie Alex up. “Peter said he..” Emma sighed. “He said he is leaving for a few days. I’m sorry.. This is my mistake..” Emma held Alex closer.
“Will he come back?” Alex asked.
“He will be back for Bea and Russ, but not for us. That’s my guess..” Emma started to cry too.
“I can’t lose him, Em.. He is the only one that treats me well..” Alex felt like his world had just turned upside down and all he wants now is just to undo his stupidity. “Emma.. I need him..”
“Me too..” Emma kissed Alex.
