Chapter 7. Three Months After

“Sean, where are you going?” Peter pulled his partner wrist.
“I need to work. Unlike you, I still need to work to make some money..” Sean smiled.
“Work is overrated.. I want you here, baby..” Peter pulled Sean back to the bed. He kissed him gently.
“You need to go to work too. Do something for this world. You can be a nude model or something.” Sean giggled.
Peter left San Francisco three months ago, he just feels like he is in the middle of Alex and Emma. He met Sean two weeks after moving to Boston. Sean was his neighbor, now he is his roommate. Peter quit his job and sold his apartment. He also sold most of his luxury stuffs. He moved in to a middle class apartment in Boston. He still have his stock on the tech company, and shockingly he actually got spousal support from Emma now. He gave Emma full custody because he just doesn’t want to be involved with Emma or Alex ever again.
Peter work part-time as an IT consultant for some small stores. He mostly did his work at home. Sean is a writer but he work as a teacher for a private middle school. He did not know that Peter is a millionaire when he first dating him. He knew it after a month dating Peter. Peter never told Sean about his BDSM exploration with Alex, or the real reason he left San Francisco. He just told Sean that he’s bored with a corporate job.
Alex kept calling him to come back, he pleaded and begged. But Peter’s heart has been shattered when he come to his hospital room and witnessed Alex cheating on him. Maybe it is what he deserved but it’s still painful for him. Jack called him a couple times, he told Peter that he broke it off with Emma. He thinks Emma got back with Alex. Sean is older than him, Peter is 31 and Sean is 37. Sean took care of him really well, he’s a great cook. And loves doing chores for Peter. Sean is gay, he broke up with his long time partner two months before he starts dating Peter.
Sean pushed Peter away and get ready to go to work. Sean left before 6.20 am and Peter left alone at their apartment. The apartment is a two bedroom because Sean turned one of it to a work room. It has a descent kitchen and one and a half bathroom. Peter went back to sleep, because he doesn’t have anything to do that day. Around 10 am the door bells woke him up. Peter put on his robes and opens the door.
Alex stood up on the other side of the door, when Peter wants to closed the door Alex hold it. “Pete, please.. Let me speak to you? We have been friend for a decade..”
“I have a boyfriend now, please leave me alone..” Peter still trying to closed the door.
“Pete! Stop this! You are being ridiculous!” Alex managed to shove inside.
Peter turned around as he knew he can’t stop ex anymore. “What do you want?”
“I want you.. We want you, Pete. Your kids are missing you like crazy. Look, I made a mistake but you also lied to me. A horrible big lie!” Alex grabbed Peter. “Peter, look at me please?”
Peter turned around. He looked at Alex’s beautiful face. There’s an obvious scars on his left cheek and his neck. Peter rubs the scars. “What happened?”
“I..” Alex sighed. “I got new dom for a few weeks, she gives me horrible treatment. I will need surgery to removed the scarring. Look, I need you. If you don’t want to be with me, I understand. I’m a horrible human being. Emma and I felt guilty for driving you away. It was always the three of us, Pete. And you are the one that connected us together.”
“Is Emma the dom that hurts you?” Peter curiously asked.

“What if I stopped? Would you go back with me?” Alex hold his breath. “We can be a normal couple…”
“Alex, we are done..” Peter sighed. Peter looked at Alex one more time and then walked away. “Go away, Alex. You have to  take care of yourself, but I won’t be the one that taking care of you. I have moved on.”
Alex dropped himself and knelt. He doesn’t want to go, he wants Peter. And if it takes him to kneel all day to proof his submission to Peter then he will do it. “I will do anything to get you back, Sir..”
Peter looked back and sighed at the sight of Alex kneeling. “I am done with you and Emma. So please leave me alone. I don’t want this kind of relationship anymore. You might not want to accept this but I am with someone that took care of me. I want someone that took care of me. Okay?”
“I can try to take care of you too, Sir. If that is what you wanted me to do. But I can’t live without you..” Alex cried.
“No.. You can’t use your tears anymore. I..” Peter took a deep breath. “I’m not in love with you anymore. I’m in love with Sean..”
“I am still in love with you. I made one mistake that you cheered for before. And suddenly you dumped me because of that! How is that fair for me?!” Alex is still crying but his voice raised from angers.
“I know I am not fair. I left you because I can’t be a good dom anymore. Remember that last time? I could have hurt you! I didn’t even check for your number, or ask your consent. I was angry because you fucked Emma, but that is not why I left you.” Peter admitted it at last. Emma and Alex have been pinned him as the bad guy because he left them. But all he wants is to stop hurting them.
“Peter, I pulled out the slow down number not because you treat me poorly as a dom. But it’s because of my shame and guilt. I knew you were hurting that is why I want it to stop. I can’t bear to see you in pain. Especially because I hurt you the last time I put you on that position.” Alex explained.
“Whatever our reason was, it is in the past. I have moved on and I am happy now.” Peter insisted.
“Pete, your kids need you..” Alex pulled his final card. He knew he’s being manipulative again but he needs Peter back. “The company need you too. I'm not as good as you.”
“Emma will take care of the kids. And you are a lot better than I am. Besides, you wanted to do something else, now you can.” Peter packed up lunch for Sean.
Usually Sean cooked something the night before and Peter took the lunch to school the next day. Peter really love his life now, it’s a simple life yet he is happy with it. He, Emma, and Alex are all come from a middle class family so they are not really building a company for wealth. Wealth gives them comfort, but they are not like most millionaires. The most expensive thing that they owned is their office building. Emma handles their financials and business, she forbid Peter and Alex to purchase anything that is only going to devaluates over time.
“Peter.. Please..” Alex is still kneeling and crying.
Peter did not pay any attention to Alex anymore. He is just focusing on preparing Sean’s lunch. Sean made a grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, and stir fried vegetables. Peter warmed it up in a pan and prepare the lunch box and packed it. He blocked all the pleading that Alex said. He just know he is happier with Sean.
Around eleven, Peter wrapped everything and changed his clothes. Alex is still there kneeling and crying. He grabbed the lunch, then lifted Alex up then dragged him out as he was getting out too. Alex grabbed him but he just does not want to make more conversation with him.
“Peter..” Alex pleads one last time.
“I need to go. Please go back to San Francisco. I don’t want to see you or Emma ever again. Thanks..” Peter shoved Alex away and headed to Sean’s school.
“Peter, I can’t live without you..” Alex grabbed him from behind. “I will do anything. I swear..”
“Alex, I’m preparing lunch and delivering it to my boyfriend how much more proof that I have move on do you need?” Peter pushed Alex away.
Alex hold his breath. “Okay, but can you at least go back to Cali, be with your kids, be our CEO again?”
“So you can manipulate me to go back with you? No, thanks.” Peter sighed. “Just leave me alone. Okay?” Peter walked away.
Alex looked down. Apparently Peter does not even want to come back for his kids. He doesn’t know what to do now. He called Emma and told her the whole thing. Emma did not say much except that Alex can’t come back to San Francisco before he bring Peter back.
Alex went back to his hotel, a motel. Because he is just that kind of masochist. He took a quick shower and jerk off while at it. He missed being touched by Peter. He rubbed the scars as he dried up and looked at the mirror.
He has been sleeping with Emma after Peter left him, and he did try to do the BDSM with Emma but Emma is not Peter. “Peter, could you open the door?” Sean asked. He is cooking their dinner and tomorrow’s lunch.
Peter opened the door and Alex standing outside the apartment. He wears his collars he looks like he just cried. Peter doesn’t have heart to kicked him out again, but he is happy with Sean.
“Look, Pete. You were right. Emma hurts me, the scars is her doing. I need you, Pete. She will hurts me if I didn’t come back with you.” Alex started to cries.
“Fuck, Alex.. Why are you doing this to me? I am happy here..” Peter grabbed Alex and hugged him. “Now I don’t know what to do..”
“Pete.. I’m begging you… Save me, save your kids..” Alex sobs.
“Is she hurting the kids?” Peter pulled out from the hugs.
“Not yet. But she changed a lot since you are leaving. Please..” Alex kept crying.
“Who is this gentleman?” Sean peek from behind.
“He’s my best friend and someone hurts him. Can he come inside?” Peter asked Sean to let Alex in.
“Sure. You should eat with us. You look.. Tired? I don’t know but you are not looking well. I’m Sean, Peter’s boyfriend.” Sean offered his hand.
Alex wiped his tears and shook Sean’s hand “Alex, Peter’s business partner.” Alex tried to smile.
“No.. I’m..” Peter sighed. He should not lie to Sean. “I’m sorry, Sean. He is my ex, too. We were best friend since collage then we become business partner then well, we dated for three years. I don’t want to lie. I’m sorry..” Peter took a deep breath.
“I appreciate you tell me the truth, Peter..” Sean kissed Peter then smiled. “You are still welcomed here, Alex. Have a dinner with us, please?” Sean offered.
Now that Alex seen Sean is just a nice guy like Peter he started to rethink this. Maybe he should just endures whatever punishment that Emma will give him. “I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to stay..” Alex said.
“I’m not letting you go back to SF..” Peter said.
“I need to take care of Cody, Russ, and Bea. I can’t just leave them there. Besides, our company is the only thing you left behind for me. I can’t just abandoned it.” Alex rubbed Peter’s hand. “I’ll be fine. Don’t worry about me, okay?” Alex forced a smile.
“Russ and Bea are not mine..” Peter said finally. He found that out a year ago, when Russ got hurts while playing and have his blood tested. He his blood types is A while both Peter and Emma are B. So he secretly ordered a paternity tests for Russ and Bea, none of them are his.
“Does that matter? They still your kids, Pete. You can’t just abandoned them..” Alex shook his head. “You can’t do that, Pete..”
“You have kids?” Sean looked at Peter with a confused looks.
“Not biologically, but yes. I have two. I just.. I can’t be with their mom. And they are not even mine..” Peter shrugged.
“But Alex is right. Biologically or not they still think that you are their father, right?” Sean stared at Peter.
“So Emma cheated on you?” Alex stared at Peter too. “If you knew Emma was cheating on you why are you still feeling guilty for doing the same thing?”
“Emma is your ex-wife, right? You cheated on her?” Sean asked again. “How many secrets did you kept from me?”
Peter just covered his face. “I’m sorry Sean. I want to have a clean slate with you. My life is just so complicated before you. I really love you, Sean.”
“Well, we just know each other.. I understand. I have a few friends that is like you. They just want some start over, so I’m not mad at you. I just wish you told me about it..” Sean hugged Peter. But Peter pulled away.
“Sean, you would not want to be with me if you knew..” Peter shrugged.
“You are not a criminal aren’t you?” Sean furrowed his eyebrows.
“No.. I’m not.. It’s just, I..” Peter shook his head. “I don’t know how to explain this to you..”

“I’m going to leave you two alone. You both are perfect for each other. I’m sorry..” Alex looked down and turned around.
But, Sean grabbed Alex. Sean rubbed Alex's scarring cheeks. “Are you still in love with Peter?” Sean asked.
“Obviously.. But Peter had told me a million times that he had move on, with you..” Alex smiled bitterly.
“Alex, I don’t want you to go back to Emma. She hurt you.” Peter shook his head. “I should have not leave you..” Peter walk closer to Alex. “I’m sorry, sweet one. I always messed things up..” Peter leaned his head to Alex’s shoulder and cried.
“Okay, you are staying here!” Sean decided with cheery tones.
“Is that okay?” Peter asked.
“Yes! Polyamory, remember?” Sean smiled. Sean grabbed Alex and kissed his lips. “You are our boyfriend too now..”
Alex pushed away Sean and Peter. “You don’t understand, Emma will hurt the kids if I did nor come back..”
“But she will hurt you anyway if you come back to her..” Peter sighed.
“I can deal with it. I’ll be fine..” Alex turned around again.
“I’ll come with you..” Peter said finally.
“Can I come too? I always wanted to see San Francisco!” Sean smiled.
“Of course, baby. What about your job, though?” Peter asked.
“I mean you are super rich and I’m not a high maintenance man..” Sean giggles. “Besides, I’m curious about your kinks.”

“Alex? Are you okay?” Sean rubbed Alex’s back.
“I’m fine.. You two are perfect for each other..” Alex put on a bitter smiles.
“Alex, you are a part of this too..” Peter kissed him gently on the cheek.
“Yes, Alex. You are with us.. Please don’t say that?” Sean smiled. “Anyhow.. I’m hungry. Let’s eat?”
Alex and Peter nodded. They have their dinner after that.


They had sex last night, this is the first time that Peter ever did it. He never fell in love with two person at the same time, until now. When Peter woke up, Sean already gone. Peter check the kitchen and that beautiful man is there.
