𝟒𝟒: A Brother's Talk

Hanseok needed time with Hanseo to plan their final revenge. The final revenge that will finish everything. Hence Vincenzo decided to visit Chayoung and give her the news. Although he didn't want to, he knew by not telling her sooner will break her heart as well.

Vincenzo slid the door open towards Chayoung's room. The scent of warm zesty aroma immediately striking his nose. The sight of Chayoung laying on the bed made his heart weak and heavy, he didn't know whether to call it lucky or something else; considering that all of this was his fault.

His steps got closer to the female who had her eyes open. Mr Nam was beside Chayoung, talking to her, easing the pain after her surgery.

"Mr Cassano ?" She uttered weakly, forcing a smile

His mouth was unable to open, as the expression written on his face was written with guilt, remorse, grief, everything that he felt on the day his mother died. But this was worse.

Chayoung knew what that face meant, she was beginning to worry what's happened.

"What happened ?"

"Is something wrong ?"

"Yeri-"

Mr Nam's attention was all on Vincenzo, his eyes beginning to fill with concern

"Jihyeon" He corrected himself, the sound of her name that came out from his lips made it hurt more.

"My sister is dead."

There was it.

"Wh-What do you mean ?" Chayoung's lips trembled, unable to swallow the news he had just broken.

"Jihyeon is dead. Myunghee killed her"

"No..." Mr Nam reacted

She slowly brought her body up to sit down, Mr Nam and Vincenzo telling her not to since her injury was fatal. Chayoung removed Mr Nam's hand from her shoulders. She turned her eyes away from the two men in her room, looking down onto her blankets, trying to chew the words Vincenzo told her.

Her face was expressionless. She was in too much shock, her best friend can't be gone that quick. She was alive and well, arguing with Jang Gukhwan, being the woman she is. She can't die that easily.

but the truth hurts and reality sucks.

Jihyeon is dead.

Jihyeon is dead and she isn't coming back.

Small exhales escaped from her mouth while her eyes began to turn glassy, tears spilled slowly. She wanted to kill Myunghee for this, Myunghee has taken too much from her. First her father then her best friend.

"You have to kill her"

For a moment, they exchanged looks, Chayoung's glistening eyes stared into his soul

"No, my intel said that they've split ways, they'll meet again in New York. They thought being together would attract more attention"
