"You slept at a friend's house knowing that today is my inauguration ?"

Hanseok turned around to face his younger brother. He knew whose house he slept in last night but he wasn't going to let this ruin his day. He had decided to let this slide

"Please, forgive me" Hanseo apologised

"There's nothing to forgive"

"It's nice seeing the old you again" Hanseok placed his palms onto Hanseo's shoulders, letting out a scoff

"Keep that up, okay ?"

Meanwhile Hanseo couldn't erase the memory of last night's kiss that widened his smile more

"I think I was born to live recklessly like this" He cheered, receiving a small box from his brother.

It was a matching watch, a symbol of their so-called 'union of brother-hood'

"Let's never betray one another and work together to put Babel at the top..." Hanseok smiled, placing the watch onto Hanseo's wrist. He then faced into the mirror again

Within the last second, he changed his mind.

"Do you know why I didn't say anything about you lying to me ?"

Hanseo's heart raced each second, is there a chance that he might know he spent the night with Yeri ?

"Lie about what ?" he obliviously asked

"Your dear friend wasn't a he after all."

His eyes shot up onto the mirror, giving his younger brother an intense look before making small steps to approach him

"You slept with her didn't you, Brother ?"

"It's nothing like that " He defended, taking a step back

"She was drunk and alone, I had to help her"

Hanseok pulled his tie, strongly gripping it. His facial expression turned into a dark one, tilting his head to Hanseo while squinting his eyes

"Don't you lie to me !" He raised his voice. Hanseo was drowning in fear, trying to control his fear.

"I promise, I just drove her home and she asked me to stay"

"She asked you to stay ?"

Hanseok's heart felt a slight pain as he blinked twice, loosening his grip

He earned a nod as an answer from Hanseo

"As much as I want to kill you, I need you alive to take the fall for me even though I'm taking over."

Hanseok pointed his index finger, warning his younger brother.

"I won't let you ruin my day.So be grateful that I'll let this go--"

"Not just this, but the shooting incident as well".

Hanseok made his way to exit their walk in closet, feeling frustrated yet heartbroken. But what Hanseo said was enough to make him halt. Immediately stopping his tracks

"Did you know she has nightmares ?"

Hanseok was aware of her nightmares but he thought that it disappeared after he came back into her life. He didn't know that she was still having those terrible dreams.

"She had one, last night"

"What about ?" Hanseok asked, not facing him

"You."

"She called out your name, I didn't know what it's about but when I tried to wake her up, she was drenched in sweat. It was pretty bad" Hanseo continued
