As the orange hue cast over the gentle sea, the waves sang out a sweet a soothing lullaby to the couple sitting on the soft carpet they laid on top of the sand. Hand in hand, they felt the serene feeling engulfing them, saying goodbye to the sun that peaked through the horizon.
He pulled her closer into his embrace, hands wrapped around her shoulder as he gave a kiss in between her eyebrows. A smile began to erupt from the ponytailed lady while her head was pressed against his chest. His other hand caress her belly that was gradually growing due to her pregnancy.
Everyone has a place where they go to escape all the pressure and worries of life. There is always one spot that can make them forget about all the pain, soothing their problems and troubles in times of stress.
This was their's.
Jang Hanseok, Yoon Yeri, and Jang Hye-Ri 's safe haven.
They watched their daughter collected water into her magenta bucket for the sandcastle she built on sea's edge.
A wide smile lit up Hyeri's face as she discovered a small crab in her bucket
"Mom, look what I found !"
"Gotta go-" Yeri whispered into Hanseok's ear, placing her palms on his cheeks, he could feel the metal from her wedding ring brush across his face as she left a small peck on his lips.
Hanseok smiled, fixing his eyes on his wife who stood up and went over to their daughter.
"What'd you find ?" Yeri asked her 4 year old daughter
"Its got a missing feet..."
"Shall we cook it ?"
Hyeri's face instantly turned pale, frightened with what her mother had just said. Yeri burst out laughing. Hanseok was able to hear it from a distance, making him laugh as well
"Nah, I'm just messing around, let's help it, hmm ?" She patted onto Hyeri's shoulder, instructing her to tilt the bucket, letting the crab crawl onto Yeri's open hand.
The tiny crab stayed on Yeri's palms, she was lucky it didn't use it's claws on her.
"Look, Hyeri--"
Yeri, being a ditzy person she is, she charged towards Hanseok with the crab. He was immediately alarmed, jolting up and he ran from her with a laugh on his face.
"Yeri !" He yelled, sustaining his laugh. His eyes were wide open, the smile never left from Yeri's face and her daughter
The air was filled with their laughter
"Stop ! unless you want that crab cooked for dinner !" He shouted again but this didn't stop Hyeri from chasing her dad.
"Mom, I got him !"
She tackled Hanseok onto the rainbow coloured carpet laid on the sand.
Yeri then placed her weight onto of her husband. The crab escaped, running away.
"Whoops" Yeri chuckled
"I think it's going home..."
Hanseok had never been happier. The amount of time he spends with his family is treasured more rather than his time medling business at his dying company, Babel.
Hanseok hugged his wife and daughter, kissing both of their foreheads. Before cleaning up their set up on their private beach and walk back home.
Hanseok walked his daughter to her room, looking at the polaroid picture she taped on her door along with her drawing of the four of them
