Sabo's POV

After a day or two, it was known around the world that Ace had escaped Marineford. Whitebeard and a bunch of pirate allies had died and Shanks had ended the war. They all had proper burials as well.

Apparently I was the talk of the town. People noticed my actions and now I was everywhere. I didn't really care though, sure I may be weak with a big target on my back, but at least Ace and Luffy survived.

All of us constantly talked about our experiences. How since my incident, we've all grown in our own ways. Luffy and Ace explained how they trained everyday just like we used to. How they left at 17 just like I said. Then how they got different crews and experienced so much. I explained my life along with added on details. It was honestly amazing how different things were.

I also got news that The Captain and most of the crew was safe as well. I felt relived, Ace did as well. With that, we had to go our separate ways.

A few days later, my ship arrived and I had to leave. Ace still has to lay low for now. Because of that he has to stay with Luffy for a few more days.

"Is that it Sabo?!" Luffy asked as he pointed to the ship not far from here.

I nodded. "Yeah, it's the Captains ship." I raised my hand and waved. "Heyyy!"

One of the crew mates on board waved back.

When they arrived on the shore, the captain and I embraced each other.

"I'm so happy you're alive!" I cried slightly.

He laughed in response. "I'm so glad you escaped. Along with Ace too!"

I smiled. "Speaking of which!" I swiftly grabbed Ace and Luffy and pulled them over. "These are my brothers! You already know Ace and this is Luffy!"

The Captain grinned. "It's good to see you alive Ace, and it's nice to meet you Luffy- huh?"

Suddenly the two brothers stood in front of my and bowed.

"Thank you for taking care of our brother!" They spoke in unison.

"And do you have any meat on your ship?" Luffy added quickly.

The Captain gave a loud chuckle. "You boys are too much! No need to thank me, he's my right hand man for a reason."

I blushed, embarrassed at the intended compliment.

"Thankfully, we in fact do have tons of food on board. I guess it wouldn't hurt if we had a meal before we go."

I turned my attention to Ace and Luffy as they looked back at me with smiles. I sighed and smiled as well.

"He is my captain." I placed my hand on my hip.

That night we had a feast. In celebration of saving Ace and the reunion of our brotherhood. We stayed up for hours, drinking, eating, and dancing like there was no tomorrow. There was singing, music, laughing, etc. I couldn't help but feel overjoyed.

The next day was when we'd finally leave. Once I woke up, I left my room, I went outside to see what was going on.
