This one is dedicated to Niyati2312Sail who was "honoured" when I asked for the permission to dedicate this chapter to her. Thank you so much for reading this and encouraging me with your praises. Love you to the moon and back!

Nova had to knock on the door a billion times until it was opened. Bon Jovi was blaring through the speakers of the latest radio. The door was opened by a handsome boy of about my age. The first thing I noticed were his eyes. Pitch black, dark as night. Everything about him was screaming black! His hair, his eyes and even his clothes.

He raised his eyebrows as he saw us (or a bunch of girls) standing at his doorway.

"To what do I owe this pleasure, Hemera?" he asked. His voice was all things sugar and honey.

I looked around for the so-called Hemera. When I saw no one, I asked, "Are you seeing things?"

He turned to me and gave me a scrutinising look.

"Red hair, green eyes, full pink lips and a stupid brain." He ticked these off his fingers and smiled. "You must be the famous Florentyna Evans! Am I right?"

Something about my expression must've told him that he made a huge mistake.

"I'm sorry. Those were just the characteristics given to me by Carter," he said quickly.

"Of course" I said. No doubt, indeed.

Eva gave me look. I couldn't decipher it, though.

Nova cleared her throat.

"Ah yes, Hemera. How may I be of your service?" he said, giving her a playful smile.

"I have lost count, now. How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that!" Nova practically yelled.

"Whatever. Hemera suits you. It is your given name, after all," he said.

"Shut up! It does not! It is Nova!" Nova said.

"Uh, guys? This is not why we are here, you know?" Bex said

"Well, why are you girls here?" he asked.

"Can we come in?" Nova asked, a bit calmly this time.

He doesn't seem sure at first but stepped aside. As soon as I stepped in, I felt as if I was transported to a new world. Ironic, indeed. The suite was spacious. The so-called living room was covered with posters of all types of metal bands that ever existed. A huge screen was set on the wall opposite. Wrappers of chocolates and chips were strewn on the floor. Comfy beanbags were set at the corners.

"Your room is as messy as ever, Nathan. Don't you ever clean it?" Nova asked.

"Don't have to," he said, walking over to the radio and turning it off.

"Okay ladies, what is it?"

Bex was lost in humming and dancing. "Hey, why did you stop?"

"Bex!" Eva gave her a disapproving look.

"Oh, Eva! You know how it is with me and la musique!" Bex says gliding gracefully as she stepped on a wrapper and tripped.

"Huh. Mystic of Music indeed," muttered Nathan.

"Mystic of Music?" I asked.

"Yes, my lady?" Bex grinned.

"Oh! That is so cool!" I said. I looked at Eva. "You are.....?"

"Technology." Eva smiled.

"Does such a thing exist?" I asked, bewildered.

"Of course, it does!" She sounded slightly offended.
