Tommy POV
"That took a while." Wilbur commented upon watching Tommy join him. He slipped his phone into his pocket.
"It's a big library."
The brunette laughed, "True, true."
The two continued down the sidewalk, heading towards their house. Tommy kicked a rock between his feet, unsure of what to say.
Luckily, Wilbur was the one to start the conversation. "Are you going to join us for movie night?"
It was a tradition they did every night, one that Tommy usually skipped. Tommy sighed, looking away. "I don't know..."
"You can pick the movie..."
Tommy bit his lip, knowing he couldn't turn down that offer. "Okay fine."
"Yay!" Wilbur cheered, a smile spreading over his face. A smirk appeared on his face as an idea washed over him. "Race you home!" he shouted, pushing Tommy back a little.
The boy stumbled before regaining his balance. Quickly, he took off after the older. "You are so on!" he yelled back.
The two ran all the way home, completely out of breath. Of course, Wilbur won but not according to Tommy. According to Tommy the brunette had cheated.
"Why do you always have to cheat?" Tommy whined, glaring at the older.
"I did not cheat!" Wilbur retorted, rolling his eyes. "You're just a sore loser." His wings fluffed up in annoyance, mirroring his mood.
Techno entered the kitchen, chuckling at his siblings bickering. "How'd your appointment go nerd?"
"Good." Tommy shrugged.
"He's going to join us for movie night!" Wilbur exclaimed, a bright smile on his face.
Techno raised an eyebrow, surprised by the news. "Oh? How'd you bribe him?"
"I didn't!" Wilbur gasped, offended his brother would ever suggest such a thing.
"He said I could pick the movie."
"Oh no." Techno groaned.
"What do you mean oh no? I have the best taste in movies!" Tommy shouted.
"I don't know about that one." Techno smirked, shaking his head fondly. "Go pick a movie and I'll grab the snacks."
Tommy moved to the living room and began searching through the possible movie choices. He could still hear Wilbur and Techno speaking in the kitchen.
"Where's Dad?" Wilbur asked, pouring candy into a bowl.
"He should be home later tonight."
"You ready Toms?" Techno called from the kitchen.
"Yup!" he responded, slipping the disc into the movie player. It was his favorite, as expected, Up.
"As expected, the all time classic, Up." Techno said sarcastically, shoving a handful of chips into his mouth.
"What are you talking about, Up is amazing!" Tommy stood up, flopping down on the couch beside Techno.
"Not when you watch it about a million times." Wilbur responded, sitting on the other side of Tommy.
"Whatever." Tommy mumbled, not really caring what they thought.
The movie started and the blonde slowly scooted closer to his brothers, leaning on Techno's shoulder. Wilbur knew he would fall asleep like he always did, the question was how long would he make it.
He barely made it a half an hour into the movie.
Wilbur rolled his eyes, wrapping his wing around Tommy and pulling him closer. He exchanged a look with Techno, chuckling. Techno wrapped one of his wings around the boy as well, keeping him warm.
The brothers smiled, glad Tommy had decided to join them. Movie nights were always lonely without him, even when everyone else was present.
No one could replace Tommy if they tried.
