Tommy POV
Tommy had been discharged after a few days. He immediately began to fall back into his old self. He had appointments with Puffy nearly every day. And to some extent they helped. But they never helped the disappointment he felt.
Phil decided that they needed to get away for a while. Just a vacation away from everything. Of course Tommy wasn't thrilled with the idea, that is until Phil offer extended to his friends.
Tubbo was easy to convince, never wanting to leave Tommy's side. Ranboo was another story.
"Why won't you come? What's stopping you?" Tommy groaned, walking along the boy.
Ranboo sighed. "I just don't want to, okay?"
The blonde stopped, studying the boy for a moment. "There's more to it than that. Come on, you can tell me."
Ranboo came to a stop, rolling his eyes. "You're not going to let it go, are you?"
Tommy smirked, "Nope."
"Okay, remind me where you're planning to go again?"
"Raven's Nest, it's-"
"I know what it is Tommy." Ranboo cut him off, immediately set on creating his list of reasons. "It's the highest sightseeing spot in the area. It's very popular for... flying." He took a deep breath, his fist clenching. "And last time I checked I can't fly... not anymore anyway."
Tommy nodded, understandingly. "Well I can't either." He chuckled. "That means you would be stuck with me the entire time."
Ranboo looked up at him unsurely. "You wouldn't leave me?"
"Never." the blonde vowed. "We'll have the entire time to ourselves! Plus Tubbo, of course." He grinned, shaking his head. "Sounds like a nightmare, doesn't it?"
The boy couldn't help but laugh. "It does sound like something."
"So...?"
Ranboo sighed, giving in. "Fine. I guess I'll come... as long as you don't leave me."
"I would never." he promised.
And he intended to keep that promise.
