friends with akaashi, bokuto, hotaru,
kenma, and kuroo. But after graduation,
the group ultimately went their separate
ways and started their jobs in diff...
Ever since your 'date' with Bokuto at the restaurant, you've been spending a lot of your time on evenings or weekends with him. It was great having his company, he never fails to cheer you up after a long day or week.
One day as you were hanging out with what Bokuto calls a house but looks more like a mansion to you, sitting and chatting on his sofa, he suddenly comes up with the idea that our whole six-person group from college should get together. You immediately agree, thinking it'd be nice to see everyone again.
Bokuto whips out his phone from his pocket and types into it furiously. A few moments later, your phone buzzes. You pull it out to see that Bokuto has messaged in your old group chat from two years ago.
It doesn't take very long until the four others reply in agreement. A date and time are quickly set up and Bokuto's so overjoyed he throws his arms around you tackling you back onto the sofa. He's so hyped up that he hardly even notices he is literally right on top of you until you have to tap out from lack of air.
He looks a bit embarrassed, glancing down worriedly at you as he sits up. He gently grabs onto your hand and helps you up, too. You smile reassuringly at him, telling him that you're perfectly fine. That doesn't stop him from checking you out once over to make sure he didn't actually hurt you.

The day that the six of you are to meet up arrives quickly. It's not something you could forget easily, especially not with Bokuto talking about it every time you see him. He had admitted to you that the only other person he's seen besides you lately is Akaashi, but apparently, Akaashi's so busy with writing and publishing that he hasn't gotten to spend as much time with Bokuto as the energetic male would prefer.
For the meet-up today, Bokuto's given you a ride. The whole car ride to the coffee shop he was driving to he couldn't stop beaming about how excited he was. It wouldn't bother you if he actually could drive properly instead of looking anywhere else besides the road. You just pray that you'll make it alive to see the others.
Just as you approach your destination, a car honks loudly at Bokuto after he almost swerved directly into it, too busy distracted yelling something about seeing Akaashi again.
"Jesus, Bo! Watch where you're going!" you shout as you brace yourself.
Once Bokuto's got control of the car again, you roll your window down to apologize to the other car. In the driver's seat of the car you almost rammed into, you find Akaashi with a ticked-off look on his face.
"Oh great, you almost killed Akaashi!" you sigh.
"Bokuto..." Akaashi growls.
"Oh! Uh, hey Akaashi. I was just talking about you... Sorry about that," Bokuto chuckles awkwardly.
Akaashi's eyebrow twitches before his car zooms off to find a place to park. Bokuto does the same and pulls the car into a free space. You sigh a breath of relief that you made it alive and quickly climb out. The two of you then begin your walk to the coffee shop, Bokuto is a bit quieter than usual since he knows he's about to get an earful from his best friend.
