Another winter came to an end and another spring had started.
The world changed with each passing day. Nature had put on the colors of the different seasons.
Now it's time for rebirth and awakening. The sky was painted in bright blue. The sun gliding over the earth generously sent its heat and brilliance to the ground as a certain boy sat on the parsley green field in the yard, under the cool shadow of the blossoming crape myrtle and let himself be carried away by the agonizing train of thoughts in his mind.
His black, glossy shoulder-length hair with white highlights glowed under the golden radiance like a diamond. His eyes, magnetic and divine, beautifully glistened as they're fixed on the illuminated sky above him. His legs crossed and his hands rest on the grass to support his weight, his skin glowing in a golden colour under his white crop top and on his exposed toned arms.
The blooming nature complimented his beauty. They were suitable for each other as if Beomgyu belonged there. Maybe that's why he loved sitting there in the grass and admiring the beauty around himself, the beauty he couldn't find in his life, so he was trying to satisfy his thirst from the outside.
Let's say that spring was Beomgyu's favourite season of the year, as nature looks its best during this period, but when he was still a kid, he admired summer so much.
That's because summer always meant happiness to him. In the summer his parents used to take time off from work and take their son on trips around the world. Though they weren't rich, they were financially stable enough to let their only child have the best time of his life and make childhood unforgettable for him.
Beomgyu was so happy back then. He was an energetic child with a fun life, then what happened afterwards? What went so wrong that Beomgyu was so miserable now; that he started hating his own life?
His father died. Beomgyu was just eleven back then. He didn't cry much, because he wasn't mature enough to understand properly what was going on and why his beloved father was being buried, though he knew he was seeing him for the last time; when his mother was crying her heart out and yelling at the ground as if it was her husband and not just a lifeless piece of the Earth, desperately begging him to wake up and get up, Beomgyu realised that this was the end of his happy life.
He wasn't wrong.
He would hear his mother's cries every night. It was frightening him. They used to even wake him up from his sleep and bring him back to the ruthless world, only to make him hide under the blanket and cry silently because he was afraid. His little heart shook in his chest every time the cries would get louder and he would even cover his ears, but vainly because his little hands weren't strong enough to block the scary noises coming from the dark. So he would stay up at night, reading his favourite comics to distract himself and somehow suppress the fear inside him.
He felt as if he no longer had a mother. He had lost both parents because his mother kept refusing to take care of him. She became an alcoholic and was even aggressive towards him sometimes, but the other times she would go up to him and cry in his little arms which weren't strong enough to support her, but still tried their best.
That's how two years passed, in fear and loneliness. Then Beomgyu became thirteen with dead dreams and hopes in his childish heart.
At that period, his mother met a man. A rich and caring man many people would gladly dream of. His name was Daehyun. To his mother, it was a gift from God, as if her greatest dream had come true. There wasn't any sign of grief, caused by loss, on her face anymore when she was dressed in a fancy white wedding dress, putting a ring on Daehyun's finger and making shameless promises to him.
