"I and my friends are gonna go out clubbing tomorrow night", Jungho said as he and Beomgyu sat on the grass in the backyard of their college, both sitting in front of their canvas, chatting and painting together. "You can come with us if your husband doesn't mind it"

Beomgyu thought about his words. He liked the idea of having fun with his friend. As Taehyun told him the other day he needed to socialise more and gain new friends. Now he had the possibility to actually do it and he needed to take advantage of it.

"I'll think about that...", he said politely, thankful that Jungho was inviting him to hang out with them. "Who are your friends by the way?"

"They study here as well. I can introduce you later", the boy replied excitedly, looking at Beomgyu.

"Sounds cool", Beomgyu said, smiling lightly. This would be his first time spending time outside the house after all, but he needed to talk about this with Yeonjun at first.

His eyes fixed back on his canvas, and soon enough he found himself drawing a flower. It was something he hadn't done before, so he felt nervous. Was this a good idea?

Before he could decide what to draw his phone buzzed. He took it out to see who it was from. To his surprise it was Yeonjun.

"Hi, baby!!", Yeonjun greeted from the other line, "Did you like the breakfast this morning?"

Beomgyu smiled softly even though Yeonjun wasn't there to see it. He appreciated how Yeonjun always used to leave a delicious breakfast on the nightstand every morning before leaving for work. The older loved waking up early every day just for Beomgyu's sake.

Beomgyu bit the bottom of his lip and tried not to let his emotions get the best of him. "Yes. I liked it"

"How about we go on a date tonight? After you finish your classes", Yeonjun suggested which made Beomgyu nervous in an instant, not liking what he heard. He didn't want to go on date with Yeonjun, but he also knew he wouldn't manage to avoid him forever. Yeonjun was his husband after all.

"Sounds good...", he lied.

There was a short silence between them before Yeonjun decided to change topics. "Did you sleep okay last night? Or did you have nightmares again?", the older asked cautiously.

This time Beomgyu really bit his lips until they almost bled. He still remembered perfectly what had happened the night before. He dreamed of Youngsoo and how he used to treat him in the past. As Yeonjun told him he cried in his sleep. Beomgyu tended to have nightmares frequently after his marriage, but whenever he used to sleep with Taehyun, they would disappear and he always slept peacefully beside the boy, cuddled against him. It was almost like Taehyun was a cure to his nightmares.

"No", he answered carefully, "Not yesterday"

The silence returned to the line and Beomgyu tried to find a topic to make the conversation lighter. He hated lying to Yeonjun, but sometimes he couldn't stand it. Not when it affected his moods.

"Are you still at work?", he asked suddenly, changing the subject.

Yeonjun seemed glad of the topic change and responded immediately, "No. I just left the office half an hour ago since I'm having an important meeting. Soobin is with me also"

Beomgyu hummed softly as an answer but didn't speak anymore. Instead, he continued drawing a flower in the corner of his canvas.

"I'm almost there", Yeonjun said, "I'm gonna hang up now. Have a good day"

"Thanks. You too"

They hung up shortly after, and Beomgyu sighed as he put his cellphone down. His fingers were starting to ache due to the intense grip on the phone since the conversation started. He stretched out his arms as far as he dared before standing up.
