Hey sorry it's been so long but Im updating now! So we shall attack at dawn and celebrate over lunch! Haha that comes with a a long story.
Chapter 11:
"Charlotte we have to leave in twenty minutes are you almost ready?" I heard Josh call for me as I rolled over lazily on the ground where I had tripped upon entering my room. It had been three and a half weeks since the paparazzi attack on Josh and I with the incriminating photos, I have lived with Josh for a little over a month now, and today Josh had an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show, which, I, after seeing a few episodes had become a huge fan of.
"Ready. For. What?" I screeched louder than necessary back at Josh sitting up.
"The Ellen Show!" He yelled back impatiently. My jaw dropped, I knew he was going but I had no idea I was going to be able to go as well. I jumped up and charged out of my room and to the living room where Josh was standing in a formally casual tight grey Calvin Klein suit.
"I get to go?" I asked knowing the answer but just needing to be sure this was really happening.
"Of course-" Josh started but was cut off when I jumped on him hugging him. I wrapped my legs around his torso squealing. "How did you not know you where going?" Josh laughed steadying himself so we both didn't topple down.
"I just thought it was strictly business for you, but wow I get to go this is amazing." I sighed getting down from strangling Josh and walking back to my room like I was walking on a cloud leaving Josh laughing. When I got to my room I straightened my hair put on my makeup before going to search my closet for the perfect thing to wear. I wanted to look casual but also slightly dressy. I wasn't going on camera so I didn't need to dress up too much but I didn't want to look like a slob. I saved all that for Josh to have the honor to look at.
I eventually settled on jean shorts, that where particularly short, a black tank top covered by a tight eggshell white semi button up sweater with navy blue swans on it, and modern Mary Jane styled 4 inch heals. Finishing off the look with a dark blue bow to go on the side of my head I hurried downstairs to leave. Josh was waiting by the front door when I arrived gracefully grinning broadly.
"How do I look?" I asked spinning for him.
"Like a superstar." He complemented smiling looking me up and down, taking his grand old time to do so. I blushed slightly giggling.
We got in his Porsche quickly hoping not to be spotted by any paparazzi and drove down to the lot where the studio was. I was so nervous I could see my hands shaking when I focused on them.
"Are you nervous at all?" I asked Josh hoping it was not just me, and I wasn't a jittery freak.
"I'm not usually nervous before interviews, but a lot is resting on this one so to answer your question yes I am nervous."
"Oh, thank God." I blurted out in relief. Josh looked in my direction momentarily cocking an eyebrow as he parked. I laughed not even bothering to explain as I got out of the car. Josh led me into the building and through a few hallways before we came across a large room filled with people who I could only assume were employees. My eyes scanned the room excitedly until they landed in Ellen DeGeneres in the corner having her microphone adjusted on her blue plaid shirt. "Would you be embarrassed if I freaked out right now." I had to bend down slightly to whisper into Josh's ear because my shoes made me so much taller than him.
"You have no idea." He whispered back, I could sense the odd mix of humor and seriousness in his voice so I straightened up again and silently screamed on the inside. Suddenly my phone buzzed in my pocket. "Who is it?" Josh asked as I unlocked it.
