Hi before the chapter I just want to throw out a little message to everyone reading, I love you and I love reading the comments you leave me so so much, however I have been receiving a bunch of comments lately pertaining to Charlotte's age in relativity to Josh's. Yes, Charlotte is decently younger than Josh! It's the focal point of the entire book! Yes she is a minor, but this is just a story, a fan FICTION, with the story line of two people loving each other regardless of age, and relationships in the real world like this one are actually quite common. That will be all xxx

Thank you for listening to me rant I just really needed to say that because we're in chapter 32 I feel like the novelty of the age difference should have worn off about 20 chapters ago. Don't misunderstand my rant I love reading each and everyone of your comments but please remember I am completely aware of the age difference. Trust me I am. I LOVE YOU ALL. Comment/vote/fan! Xx

Chapter 32:

My vision became fuzzy as I focused on the my curling iron slowly heating up. Shutting my eyes tightly for a moment I opened them widely and glanced down at my perfectly done nails that matched my dress perfectly. The past week had been stressful beyond compare, however after what seemed like an eternity it was Friday. The night of the masquerade ball, I had an hour before we had to leave and my world was shattering to pieces all around me. I had made the poor decision of taking a small nap before I got ready and that soon turned into an all day event. Noticing my iron had finally heated up I twisted my hair into perfect curls hastily checking the time every moment. When I had finished I snatched my makeup bag out of the drawer under the sink and poured it onto the counter. I applied a dark smokey eye, eyeliner, mascara and began my foundation routine. I was careful not to rush with my makeup for it would take even longer if I messed it up in my frazzled state. Satisfied with how seemingly put together I was turning out I dusted on sparkling blush and a nude lip stick and dashed from the bathroom. My dress was already lying on my bed and thankfully I had the decency to wear the correct bra today. I slipped on my gorgeous midnight blue dress on and I glanced towards the mirror to adjust the cutouts and skirt. I sat on my bed and fished around underneath for my shoes before my finger wrapped around the pair of silver heels. I yanked them from their hiding spot and shoved them on my feet. I was done.

Everything was perfect. I was dare I say it flawless. I strutted back and forth in front of the mirror before heading to the door and sucking in a huge breath. The mask. Making a mad dash for my bed side table I grabbed it and hurried back to the bathroom. It was a black lace mask that stuck to my face, sticking it on perfectly I again exited the bathroom and looked in the mirror. It was wonderful, I felt like a princess headed to the ball. Smiling to myself I reached for my clutch with my phone in it before exiting my room. I slowly approached the stairs my heart beating out of my chest not being able to handle the anticipation of Josh finally seeing me.

"Charlotte is that you?" I heard Josh call up to me.

"Yes?" I responded in a question befuddled wondering who else it could possibly be. I began to take slow steps down the stair for both effect and my inability to maneuver stairs in my shoes. When I came into view I heard multiple sharp intakes of breath. My eyes were only on Josh for now, he looked stunning in a black tuxedo and plain black mask.

"I don't think I've ever seen anything more beautiful in my entire life." Josh uttered obviously taken aback by my appearance. I blushed wildly and stared down at the floor suddenly feeling rather sheepish.

"He stole the words out of my mouth." I heard another familiar male voice sound from beside Josh. My eyes immediately shot over to meet the source of the words.

"Connor!" I screeched throwing myself into his arms coming close to tripping myself in the process. He hugged me back tightly as if he would never dare to let go.
