He closed his eyes and leaned in. You watched him and went rigid. You squeezed your eyes shut, waiting for the kiss. But it didn't happen. When you opened your eyes J-Hope's nose was almost touching yours. "Now we're even!" He said teasingly to your...
Tomorrow came, quickly it seemed. Time liked to fly by when you were anxious about something. Almost like wanting to not give you time to prepare. You had stretched when you got up, practiced some more dancing, ate some lunch, talked to Ashley. She was building your hopes so high today. She kept saying it was a date and you kept arguing with her. J-Hope was just being nice to a fan. Fan service, nothing more. You ate an early, light dinner and took a shower.
You had washed your new outfit and were putting on make up while it was drying. You did light neutral shades, nothing too extravagant. You put half your hair up and sprayed some hair spray on it. You'd be at the beach; you didn't want your hair flying everywhere.
The dryer kicked off and you got your clothes out, they smelled so fresh and clean. You smiled to yourself as you breathed in the scent. You put the new outfit on and checked yourself out in the mirror. You had bought these cute sporty black legging that had white stripes down the side. You wore a thin pink hoodie and a black jean jacket over top of the hoodie. You slid on some black converse and your outfit was complete. You thought you looked pretty cute, if not too boyish.
You came out of your room and twirled for Ash. She clapped happily. "You look hot honestly." You chuckled at her. You put some money and your phone into your pockets. Grabbing your keys, Ashley said her goodbyes. "Be careful! Don't stay out too late! Kissing on the first date will make you look like a ho!" You laughed deeply at her; she was hilarious. "It's not a date Ash!" You said one last time before heading out to your car.
You arrived at the beach and parked. You took a deep breath and tried to relax your nerves. 'He's just a person, just human.' You kept telling yourself.
"I'm here, where are you?" You informed him. You bit your lip nervously; you had hoped he hadn't changed his mind.
"I'm wearing orange and I'm by the sign."

You inhaled sharply and looked towards the sign; you saw him. You got out of your car shakily. You walked over to him, he looked pretty darn cute. He greeted you with the cutest smile. You waved at him, then felt stupid for waving when he was already looking at you. You looked at his little ears folding down from the hat he was wearing. It was the cutest thing ever.
"Hey," you greeted him. "Hey! Congrats on getting picked!" He gave you such a bright smile. His energy was always so contagious. "Thanks so much! I still can't believe it!" J-Hope held his hand for a high five and you smacked it. "I can, you have a lot of promise," he explained, looking at his feet. You wondered if he was getting shy again, it was truly a cute sight. "That means so much coming from you." You offered him a beaming grin and he shot you one back. "Well, let's go walk!" He said brightly and you walked to the sidewalk running along the beach.
You both crossed the concrete and stepped into the soft sand. You stopped for a second and took off your converse, holding them in your hands. "I've been here many times; this is a lovely beach." You said finally breaking the silence. He smiled softly and looked up and down the coastline. "I love beaches, I've been wanting to visit this one." You looked up at him and a gust of salt air blew his hair back. He was absolutely gorgeous. He looked over at you when he noticed you staring.
