You were sitting on a lovely gray leather couch in a giant living room. There was a plush blanket wrapped around your body and a book in your hand. You looked around the living room and spotted so many canvases hanging on the walls, pictures of you and Hoseok together.
You settled your gaze on a particular one above the fireplace that was in the center of the room. This print was larger than the rest. You smiled to yourself as you looked at a picture of Hobi and you cutting your wedding cake. He looked so dashing in an all-white suit with a white tie. And then you looked at yourself, your eyes were sparkling. Your smile was radiant. The wedding dress you were wearing was absolutely stunning, covered in delicate lace, sequins, and pearls. Hobi had a giant smile on his face as well. That was your wedding day and your heart felt warm and fuzzy as you thought about it.
You felt something move inside you, you look down at your lap and notice your belly has a large bump. You were pregnant! You rubbed your belly, trying to soothe the movement of your baby sunshine inside. "Shhh, be good, mommy and daddy can't wait to meet you." Your heart feels so complete and full. You've never felt happier in your life. The tiny human growing inside of you gave you so much purpose in life it was hard to comprehend. You hummed a lullaby, trying to convey your love to your baby through singing.

Suddenly you jerked awake. You quickly turned to your side to see Hobi had already left. You let out a deep sigh, realizing what you were seeing was just a dream. But it felt so real, it felt so amazing. Maybe your subconscious was trying to tell you something. Maybe your heart already made up its mind and your brain was trying to catch up.
Finding a note on the bed, you pick it up and read it. It was from Hobi, he had such nice handwriting for man. "Sweetheart, I have to go to the filming site. I'll be back afterwards as soon as I can. Please, please think about what I said. I love you, see you soon. Love Sunshine."
You folded up the note and held it to your chest. You truly loved that man. Hobi was the sweetest person to ever grace your life. Was your dream a possibility? Was it a future that could come true? You'd never know unless you stayed. Thinking about going back to LA and abandoning Hoseok just didn't seem right, it didn't sit well with you at all. And then you figured you had your answer. Your brain and your heart finally agreed on something.
Finally leaving the comfort of your bed, you went to take a quick shower. You were feeling more upbeat this morning. To put it simply, you had hope. After getting ready, you heard your phone chime, and you went to check it. You had a few new text messages, one from Ashley and one from Hobi. You read Hobi's first.
"Morning sweetheart, I hope you're feeling better." You smiled and texted him back, greeting him. You read Ashley's text next.
"Why haven't I heard from you? How was the music video? Tell me everything, call when you can! ily."
You didn't know how to start that conversation with Ashley. You had nothing but bad news for her. First you got terminated from the position and second, you've decided to stay in Seoul and see what this side of the world has to offer you. This decision scared you deeply, you were completely uprooting your life for one man and one last chance at reaching your dreams.
Knowing that your sweet Hobi wouldn't be around for most of the day, you sighed deeply and typed in Ashley's number. She answered the phone instantly and started yelling at you for not getting in contact sooner.
"Why haven't I heard from you in a few days?" She didn't even say hi, she just launched questions.
"Well Ash, something happened."
"Oh no, you don't sound happy. What's wrong? Did J-Hope hurt you?!" You laughed at her assumption. Like Hobi could ever hurt anyone, he was too much of an angel.
"No um...he's perfect but...the company found out J-Hope and I were seeing each other. And employees and Idols can't date so they terminated me." The line was quiet, you couldn't hear a single sound.
"WHAT?!" Ashley finally screamed. You held the phone away from your ear.
You explained everything to her, the staff phone call, all the texts from Hobi, your voice wavered as you talked about the panic attack you had. You confessed that you tried to push Hobi away and end things, but he wouldn't allow that. You told her about how he just comforted you, never leaving your side.
"He said he loved me, Ash."
"Shut. UP. You are so lucky, well mostly." You laugh at her words; she was always comical.
"But after all that bad luck, Hobi said he could put in a recommendation for me at the top school of dance here." The line was dead quiet again. You tugged nervously at your bottom lip with your teeth.
"Really?" Ashley said after a tremendously long moment of silence. Her voice sounded different now.
"Yeah, he even asked me to move in with him." You said the last portion very quietly. Almost as if to soften the blow it was going to take to Ash.
"What...what was your answer?" You heard her voice hitch and your heart broke. She was upset with the news, you knew it. It was unavoidable though. This was what was best for you and your future.
"I didn't answer yet." You heard her sigh.
"What are you thinking though?" You stay quiet for a moment, not knowing what to say and how to say it. A simple answer carried more weight than you could imagine. It meant that you were leaving the country, leaving your friends and family behind. Before you could decide to answer, Ashley spoke up again.
"Your silence answered that for me."
