Chapter Forty-Two: "Hotter than hell."

Continuation of GDA 2021

Rosé followed the staff who were leading them to their table. Since their act was on of the first ones, they had not gone to their table yet. Lisa walked next to Rosé while their unnies were closely behind them. "Dude, it's fate." Lisa whispered when she realised who they were sitting next to.

Rosé looked at her questioningly and realised where they were headed towards. BTS. Rosé tried not to react but she couldn't stop the smile that graced her face as she walked in front. As the girls reached, BTS stood up and bowed to them. They bowed back as they were in public, who had no idea they were friends.

Rosé sat down at the circular table beside Namjoon and Lisa beside her. Jennie was beside Lisa followed by Jisoo who was between Jennie and Hobi. On Hobi's other side was Yoongi, then Taehyung, followed by Jungkook and then Jimin. Jin had settled between Namjoon and Jungkook.

"Hello Chae," Namjoon said quietly, his lips barely moving but Rosé caught his slight smile and greeted back with a smile of her own. Rosé focused on the stage like everyone else so that it wouldn't seem to suspicious. The last thing she wanted was a possible rise of Namrosé. It was already hard enough to deal with the rest of her ships.

Rubbing her arms, Rosé couldn't help but give away the fact that she indeed was freezing. She had given Chanyeol the jacket back so as to avoid fans' speculating eyes which would immediately notice the simultaneous addition to her outfit and subtraction to his.

She caught Jungkook trying to remove his blazer and immediately knew what he was trying to do. Her eyes gave him a warning look and she slightly shook her head. She did not want to give armyblinks any reason to ship them harder even if their relationship was true.

Jin noticed and seemed to talk the maknae out of it because he pouted and stopped trying to remove his outerwear. Namjoon whispered a don't worry and took off his own jacket passing it to Rosé.

Rosé accepted it as it made more sense of Namjoon to give it to her from the fans' point of view. Namjoon was the one beside her so it would just make it a gentlemanly gesture of his. Moreover, he had just passed it to her instead of helping her wear so it didn't seem too close or intimate. Despite that, the fans' erupted into loud cheers at the interaction of the two top bands in the entire music industry.

Just then, someone tripped near Jungkook and held his shoulder for balance. Tzuyu. Jungkook looked up, a little shook but made no move to do anything. Well she didn't need help, she looked fine.

Rosé was a little annoyed at first. How coincidental could it really get? She had a feeling that the girl had done it purposely but when she caught the sight of Jungkook's red face and uncomfortable gaze, she was amused.

His nervousness around girls never seemed to fade. He would behave like he was an alpha male who was flirty with her, but in reality he was someone who would run farther away from the opposite gender.

Rosé rolled her lips inwards to stop herself from from laughing at his state and noticed Jimin trying to stifle his own giggling. But when their eyes met, the Park siblings couldn't help but burst into laughter. Rosé quickly composed herself after a few seconds but Jimin almost fell over. This was fortunate for Jungkook as he disguised his move to brush Tzuyu's hand away by catching Jimin's arm to stop his from falling on his ass.

"Dude, your dance break was insane!" Joy commented on Rosé and Lisa's joint dance break a few hours earlier at the GDA.

All the idols were currently at the night after-party of GDA which was a little party for them all to meet up without cameras and outside eyes to witness and cause rumours. Rosé was with Joy from Red Velvet as the two girls had not caught up in forever.
