“You were quite lucky. The poison didn’t spread too far. So I was just able to remove it before it caused too much damage. However, your hand maybe sore for the next few days. Next time be more careful around wolfs bane. Remember wolves are weak to it.”

“But doc, I am not a werewolf.” I gasped.

The doctor looked at me shocked. “Are you sure? Wolf’s bane only affect wolf genes. It attacks the wolves DNA and turns their skin around the affected area black. That is known as the death mark. Slowly the poison begins to spread and shut down their organs. If a human is attacked it doesn’t do more than cause an annoying rash at worst. Hm… are you sure you are human?”

“Well, my parents were human. I was born with humans. I didn’t know about the existence of bloody werewolves until these idiots decided to kidnap me!” I hissed.

The doctor just stared at me calm. “Um, alpha. Do you mind if I talk to your mate alone for a while.”

“Do you mind asking my permission and not him? I am my own person you know.” I hissed.

“Love, calm down. He was just asking if I could leave. I will but I will be back in a few minutes.” He said as he kissed my forehead.

I jumped back in fright. I had no idea why I was so angry. It just switched something inside me when he called me a wolf, when I knew that I was a human. When Ayyan left the doctor turned to me.

“I have to ask you. Now that he is gone. You can tell me anything. Are you or one of your family members a werewolf?”

“No, I only have my parents and my grandfather. None of them are werewolves.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes!”

Then he nodded. “I guess I’ll get right on trying to figure out why wolfs bane affected you so much. Do you mind if I take a bit of your blood to test?”

“No, go ahead. I want to find out what the hell is going on as well.”

The pack doctor had just finished taking a sample of my blood when you know who came marching in.

“Okay, time is up.” He growled. “Now what was so important that you had to have me leave the room?”

“If we told you, then what was the point of you leaving the room?” I asked.

“Good point. Come on. Let’s get you to bed. It’s been a long day.” Ayyan said lifting me off my feet from the hospital bed.

“Speaking of which. Where am I sleeping?” I asked.

“Where else? In our room.”

“Oh no no no no no no no no! Oh hell no!” I hissed. “Not going to happen in any life time.”

He stared at me blankly. “You finished?”

“You going to find somewhere else for me to sleep.”

“Nope.” Ayyan said grinning from ear to ear.

This caused me to grow angry…er.

“You listen here buddy! Out of you find me somewhere else to sleep or-“ I began but was interrupted by some random guy running inside.

“Sir, we have the attacker. He is in the court room.” The man said.

“Good. Um…”

“I know what you are going to say. The answered is no. I am coming with.”

“Um…why?”

“I have my reasons.”

He raised my eyebrow at me then thought for a moment. Then he shrugged his shoulder.  “Okay.”

“Really, it is going to be that easy?”

“Well, what is the point of fighting? If I say no I’ll have to lock you in our room. To which you would get pissed then find some way to escape. Then you would sneak around to find the room. Magically find it against all odds. Then make some sort of entrance. Saves me lots of time and effort to just let you come with. Ha! I mean what is worst that could happen?”

-------*--------*-------------

We were in a big room with windows blocked by bars. All that was in the brick room was other wolves and some cloaked guy tied in the middle of the room on his knees.

“Why is he still wearing the cloak?” Ayyan asked.

“He refused to shut up otherwise.” One of the warriors complained.

I saw Ayyan roll his eyes.  “Remove it.”

The man who had spoken then nodded his head. Then moved towards the guy pulling his hood off. I took one look at the guy and almost screamed. He was a hunter? He knew about this world, and he didn’t tell me?

Louie!? What the hell is going on?” I gasped at him.

“Love? Do you know this man?”

“Know him? He is my best friend!”

Ayyan looked at me with wide eyes. “Your best friend is a hunter?”

“You with the wolves?” I heard Louie yell. “This is where you disappeared to?”

“What the hell is going on? Louie are…are you a hunter?”

He looked at me with eyes I couldn’t explain. It contained a mixture of hatred and betrayal.

“Yes, my whole family is. How…how can you be on their side? On the side that has murdered countless numbers of our kind. “

“I am not on their side.”

I saw Ayyan flinch. “Rosella…”

“Wait…what does that mean?” Louie asked.

“I am not here by my own choice.” I said.

“You really are monsters? You are kidnaping humans as well? We will kill all of your kind!”

“Not the best idea to threaten us while tired up while in the middle of werewolf territory. Yeah not a good idea!” A voice laughed.

“I don’t care what you mutts think!” Louie hissed. “I will escape and then I will free my precious Rose.”

I heard a loud growl. The next moment Louie is against the wall as Ayyan growled at him.

“What did hell did you just call my mate? Only I get to call her cute nicknames.” Ayyan hissed. “You hear me?” ‘

The only sound that he made were choking sounds.
