A Second Chance

The fight goes on

Anger fueled me as I attacked him. The grin on his face was making more and more angry. I felt the burning urge to kill this bastard. He hurt everyone I cared about. He was going to pay.

"Oh, is the puppy upset that the little king is dead?" Louie mocked me.

The creature that Louie had turned into was a thing that haunts nightmares. But I wasn't cared. I was too angry to be scared. He attacked, and killed my best friend then views it as if it was nothing but a fly on the wall that he had squished.

The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. In my anger all I could think about was killing this bastard. I no longer cared if he was once a friend of Rose's. I just attacked him without thought. No future planning. Just blind rage attacks. Thinking back on it now I was lucky not to have been killed as well. There were so many swipes that were just hairs lengths away from getting me. But in my mind was only set on what was left of his throat. It was then that I saw a small opening in that lead straight to his throat.

But I never got to it, instead I was attack on my side by a normal hunter. He managed to knock me down and Louie headed towards me, and before I could pick myself up. He had raised his deadly claw to attack me. All I could do in that time was shut my eyes and wait for the hit. However, it ever came. All I felt was the light hit of a body hitting mine. I eyes snapped and my heart stopped. All I saw was my previous mate who I thought was long down. Lying on top of me frightfully still. No...no.

Rosella's POV

I was fighting away against the hunters. I turned to check on Ayyan and was shocked at what I saw. The king of werewolves was lying still on the ground not far from where I could see a clearly angry Ayyan fighting. The other mutant monsters were slowly circling the two. We had to find a way to stop them!

"Rose! For the hundredth time. We have to leave! It is getting too dangerous!' Nathaniel cried.

Throughout the fight Nathanael was fighting beside me. However, the weird thing was no one was attacking him. Multiple times Nathanael would just stand there arguing with me to leave. Then hunters would come to attack me, and bypassed him straight to me. I found myself thinking about what the hell is going on. Nathanael was also barley using his powers.

But I was just glad he was still with me. I knew a lot of other people would just turn and leave me alone. Not stay by myside and risk their life to help me.

"I can't leave! I caused this trouble. I have to be here until it is finished. Whether I die or not."

"You are talking crazy! If I knew you were going to do something like this I wouldn't have brought you here if I knew you were just going to get yourself killed!"

I looked as the group of mutants got closer and closer to their leader and Ayyan. Meanwhile, as they got closer they acted like a tornados they took out every werewolf and hunter in their path. They messed up their minds so much they were attacking their own men! But I was more worried about the fact that they were heading towards Ayyan. The last leader standing. If he goes down. So does all the werewolves. Without a leader the wolves would be too weak.

"Well, then you're not going to like what I have to do here."

"Wait, what am I not going to like?" He said turning to me.

But I was already gone. I was racing as fast as I could towards my Ayyan. Yes, I said it. My Ayyan. But as I got closer the reality of what I was doing was setting in. When I finally clicked that this was the dumbest things anyone could have done, it was too late. I was surrounded by the scary strange creatures.

"Oh cr*p." I cried as three turned to me.

"Rosella!" I heard Nathanael cry from a distance.

I was shaking as I stared at the creatures. What do I do? What was I thinking? Nathanael was about to use his powers but they wouldn't reach me in time I was dead. But before they could hit me. A bright light flashed in front of my eyes. I felt my hair fly around my face, as if a huge gust of wind blew past me. I blinked as I looked for the creatures only to see them floating in mid-air. I turned around and gasped. I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Father?" I heard Nathanael gasp. "What are you doing here? I thought that you said you wouldn't fight."

"I wasn't." He said as he used his powers to kill the three creatures instantly. "But I wasn't going to let my only son get himself killed."

It was then that a huge about of different fairies began to join the fight.

"But the council-"

"Screw the council...im the king." He said with a grin.
