Headcanons - Hermit Groups and Dynamics

Feel free to add some suggestions for headcanons, especially for those who lack specific headcanons. I'll totally consider ideas!

Cleo and Joe – Both a pretty open to the other taking care of them. Both understand each other, and Joe allows Cleo to go full OwO mode, without being weirded out (and sometimes he joins in too). The two aren't chaotic, per se, but they're a force to be reckoned with when both of them are little.

Doc and Ren – As basemates, they have each other's' backs. Though, Ren's more willing to let go and act childish than Doc is... meaning that if Ren's little, Doc will take care of him, but if the roles are reversed, it's likely Doc has too much pride to let Ren baby him.

NHO – As Etho doesn't like sharing his problems with Iskall, if he's little he'll allow, albeit not without being forced to, Beef and/or Bdubs to hang around and take care of him (sometimes Doc, but those times are rarer, and it's usually the whole NHO in that case). Beef's typically willing for anyone to take care of him if need be, but he'd probably feel guilty for wasting someone's time. Bdubs is usually the one to force everyone to take care of themselves because Etho and Doc they don't know when to stop working, or even how to act their age when it's necessary. Doc is usually the same around them as with Ren, willing to take care of his friends, less willing to put his own guard and pride down.

Hypno and xB – The duo I know hardly anything about! Less of a headcanon here, but xB probably just clings onto Hypno when little (and Xisuma and possible very few others) and doesn't like being around tons of people in those times. While Hypno isn't constantly dying, he does need help sometimes, and is okay with xB being the one he goes to. But if all else fails, they'll just use an IOU to call someone over to help out!

Scar and Cub – Being pretty close from their time under the Vex, the two trust each other when things get rough. From Scar having to call Cub over from his canyon to help take care of all the other Boatem members that decided to die to the hole (and Scar can't do hardly anything about it) to Cub getting Scar to help work on the canyon or picking up his things when he's fallen into a stalagmite, the two always have each other. They'll probably know somethings wrong with the other only five minutes later (unless of course, Scar's gone on Last Life, to which he cannot help Cub in his times of need).

Boatem group – They're chaotic. Too chaotic for their own good. Mumbo and Grian typically "accidentally" kill each other, going back down to a child's age, to which Pearl (and possible Scar or Impulse) has to come over to take care of them until they're not constantly on the brink of death. Scar's clumsiness tends to result in Pearl coming over often to tell him to wear more protective armor and help him heal up or just be a playmate in his time of need. Pearl typically doesn't run into problems of death, but if she does, she prefers either Keralis or Bdubs over this group of irresponsible hermits. At the end of the day, they typically have to call TFC or Cub over for extra help.

Mumbo and Grian – Even though in the Boatem group, their friendship is different on a personal level from a group level. Grian sometimes dies purposefully when having lacked attention for an extended amount of time, which leaves Mumbo to come over checking on him, knowing his tactics well, but not doing anything about it. Even still, Mumbo doesn't trust himself to take care of the other, which is why he's never willing to take on more than one (or anyone other than Grian typically) at a time. On the flipside, if anything happens to Mumbo, he probably won't say much about it, but Grian will be over to help, much more confident in his ability to take care of others, which results in a bit of carelessness.

Xisuma and Keralis – This duo exists because Keralis knows if anything happens to Xisuma, Xisuma will not let anyone help him. Also Keralis knows if he's not there, it's likely Xisuma will try to push himself to get back to work even if he's too young or too tired/sick to do the job properly. While Xisuma doesn't always return the favor of taking care of Keralis in his need, he does still stop by when he can.

ZIT – The unstoppable force of chaos that all treat each other like siblings. If they're all together, its likely at least one if not all of them will end up a child by the end of the night (unless of course, the reason they banded together was because one of them needed adult supervision... but hey, they probably all do no matter their age). The three don't hesitate to get together if its needed, and they're pretty open about problems either due to being a child or just having a rough day. Sometimes though, they're not together for emotional support so much as being a test subject for Zedaph and his new potions he's been creating.

Wels and Jevin – The two stick together mostly because they don't have anyone else to rely on. They don't have a basemate, and while Jevin has the group of Swamp girls nearby... it's not like he's going to allow them to take care of him, unless the situation is dire. They're pretty good friends though, and the two meet up to talk about things related to the Evil Empire and will probably play some sort of store game if they both happen to be little.

Big Eye Guys – You just have to pray these three aren't all little at the same time... Last time that happened, they nearly called off their friendship, and the time before that, they almost destroyed the server. Bdubs and Keralis, though both immature in some regards, are both more caretaking of all the hermits, so the two are super willing to take care of their friends (in this group and out of it) to the point where they will force their help unto others. If one or more of them has just died, they'll all come together and probably host a movie night which results in them becoming a jumble of limbs when they wake up in the morning. Sometimes they're friendship seems a bit love-hate... which is way more amplified after a prank resulting in a little one.

Swamp Girls – Their goal in life is to help out the whole server. Gem will go out of her way to take care of others and pull nice pranks, especially when she knows someone has been having a rough day or week. Stress is there to take care of the little hermits when they get hurt or lose their things. False, although more hesitant to allow help or show outward affection, is going to be there for someone to lean on or to fight on behalf of someone. The group works well together, and are probably the heroes of the server oftentimes.

Iskall and Stress – With the distance and lack of communication between Iskall and Etho, Iskall tends to confide in Stress. The two are close and their friendship is two-sided, meaning that both trust the other entirely to be beside them if anything goes wrong. While neither really overwork themselves, they tend to make sure the other is relaxing enough and they try to make sure the other is really enjoying their life in Hermitcraft.
