Michelle had her scrubs on, her lab coat gushing cause of the wind as she walked down the hallway towards her next patient. Leave it to the older woman to go to work before having to fly to another state for work.
"Hey, beautiful."
"Harvey, we talked about this. I am your doctor and I am married."
"She doesn't have to know."
Michelle had to hold the urge to roll her eyes as she went over the chart. She looked at the intern beside her and handed her the chart back.
"He just needs some sutures, could you please do it for me? Thank you so much."
The intern nodded her head eagerly before the Attendee walked away to tend to other patients. She volunteered to take over trauma for a few hours so she has been going around, helping interns, residents and patients, everyone who needs help.
Meanwhile, Christen is in Bailey's office where Bailey lets her stay while she waited for her shift to be over. She had Theo at the corner, sleeping in her stroller while Christen went over some of her emails since she would be distracted when she would stay in the Attendee's lounge.
That or the other Attendings would get distracted by her and Theo since everyone who had met the newborn so far had been obsessed with her.
The door to the office opened and in came Bailey holding a bunch of papers. She smiled at the Angel City Headcoach as she put the paper down and started doing her own work.
Noticing a bunch of commotion from the "bridge", she looked up only to see Michelle walking as confidently as ever, her hands in the pocket of her lab coat, as a bunch of interns and some residents following her like lost puppies.
"You're wife has always got this God Complex about her. She's like the main character of every movie. Everyone wants to be here and everyone wants to get with her, it got annoying after a while."
Christen looked at Doctor Bailey, who was also looking at Michelle as they passed. The head of surgery chuckled and shook her head.
"But not going to lie, I was one of those people who would fight for her to be on my service. She is good at everything, but the best thing about her is that she has a kind heart. She's doing this because it's her passion to help people. And I admire her for that."
Glancing back at her wife, she couldn't help but grin.
"Me too."
.
Lexie and Michelle walked beside each other, both of them talking about their rounds that day when they noticed a woman approach them. Lexie hugged her best friend before smiling at Scarlett and walking away. Michelle tilted her head, a small grin on her face as she walked up and hugged the blonde girl.
"Scarlett, hey. What are you doing here?"
She put up a bag of tacos from the taco truck a few streets down and pulled her coat together.
"Heard that Christen and Theo are here as well so I bought us some tacos, where are Isabella and the twins?"
"Bee kidnapped them so she's there at the Carter household cause Rhi is in town and they're spending time together before we have to fly to Georgia."
Scarlett hummed and handed her the bag of food, which Michelle accepted gratefully. Michelle looked at her watch before giving Michelle gave her a nod.
"Walk with me."
They both started walking, crossing the lobby to get to the other end of the building. They looked over at the entrance, to see the camped-out paparazzi waiting, taking pictures of the 2 actors as they walked.
