Isabella looked at the older girl in front of her, the newly turned 7-year-old was sitting beside the younger Martins, a small cupcake on her hand as she watched the older people around her talk to each other.
She tilted her head as she continued watching Mikha, trying to study the birthday girl.
"Do you need anything, Bella?" Mikha asked, finally turning to the younger girl beside her.
Isabella, not even bothered at the fact that she got caught, shrugged her shoulders. "Why does it seem like you turning 7 is not a big deal for you?"
Mikhs chuckled, facing her completely. "Should it be a big deal?"
"I don't know about you, but personally, I can't wait to turn 7," Isabella mumbled, her little feet swaying back and forth as she short attention span took her anywhere and everywhere aside from the eye contact Mikha was trying to offer her.
"Don't worry, you'll turn 7 in a few months," Mikhs replied, turning her attention back to where Isabella was staring at, which was the big cake on the table. "Being 7 doesn't really affect me much. I'm more excited to turn 18."
Now that caught Isabella's attention. Her eyes furrowed as she waited for the explanation. "18? Why 18?"
"A lot of reasons. For me, that's when I will surely feel like I am a woman. A step closer to womanhood."
Izzy hummed, a small pout on her face as she was deep in thought. "I wanna be there when you become a woman."

"This is your captain speaking. We have now landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport and have come to a stop on the runway. Please ensure that all of your belongings are secure and that you are seated with your seat belt fastened."
Isabella kept her hat on, and a facemask was secured to cover half of her face. Traveling by herself to another country was a first for her, so she was trying to be extra careful. It also didn't help that she did not have any security with her, so she didn't want to draw any attention to herself.
Going out of the plane, she was really starting to regret wearing what she was wearing. Hot air gushed towards her making her sigh in discomfort.
Fucking sweater. Mikha you better appreciate me being here.
Making her way to baggage claim, her phone suddenly rang. Making sure she had her airpods in, she answered the facetime call with her Mom.
"You landed already?" That was the first think Michelle asked when Isabella picked the phone up.
Isabella, who continued walking to towards the baggage claims, chuckled at the concerned expression her Mom had. "I just landed, getting my luggage."
