School

As I heard a strange noise beside me, I thought I was having another nightmare. It kept on ringing and ringing and ringing then suddenly I felt a slap on my head. When I opened my eyes, it was my alarm that was ringing this whole time. I looked at the time 8:00am and I had a 9am class. "Shit" I said jumping out of bed and rushing to the bathroom.

I quickly took a shower, rushed back to the room and got dressed up. I wore an oversized jean, a belly top and a basketball jacket. I then later sat on my make up table, combed by afro hair and put it in a low ponytail, did my edges and just applied light makeup then I rushed out.

"Vanessa! Kaysha" I screamed from the living room hoping they will answer but no one answered. I went to their room to check on them but they where not there. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called Vanessa..
"Vanessa where are you guys?"
"Sorry Ely Kay and I decided to go earlier so we could look around school before the morning ceremony"
" you guys should have told me or called I was beginning to feel worried. Oh shit we start in 20 minutes. See you there" I turned the call off, picked my backpack , put on my snickers and picked my car key from the table and left.

After driving for ten minutes to school, luckily I spotted where kaysha parked her car so I pulled up by her car and parked there. I was about to get into the hall when I heard some guys laughing behind me. I thought they where laughing at me so I just looked over my shoulders and smirked but I felt someone's gaze on me.

I got into the hall where I saw Vanessa and kaysha sitting where they saved a sit for me. I went over to them and sat down just then the same guys who where laughing earlier sat behind us. "Hi I'm Mike nice to meet you" one of them said while pushing himself forward. Vanessa giggled and Kaysha didn't pay attention at all, I turned my head and smiled then the other one introduced himself as well "hi I'm Chris" I smiled and nodded then suddenly I looked at the guy sitting in between Mike and Chris. He had a very stunned look on his face and he was grinning his teeth's together, I could see it on his jaws. "I'm Vanessa" Vanessa suddenly said. " this is Kaysha and Elyssa" she pointed to us both. " this is Derrick" Chris said. He doesn't like self introduction". I turned back infront and smirked then I hissed.

"Welcome to Alchemy municipality college. Here, we make dreams come true, we help the students and treat them like our own family or younger siblings. A school is not a place for only learning but it can also be a place for fun and creating memories but while we are having fun let's not forget to achieve our dreams and remember why we are here. We promise to work together and continue to create a great student teacher relationship. Have a great time here at ALMC and we hope all dreams are been achieved. Thank you" the principal said as he walked down the stage.

After talking and getting to know each other, I told the girls lets go back home and rest a little before our school welcome party later that evening.

We where about to walk out the hall when someone suddenly tapped me. I turned and looked behind me and I saw Derrick. I smiled and removed his hand from my shoulder " what are you guys up to? My friends want to know" he said looking away into space chewing his teeth. "Home" I said walking away. I don't know I just feel like I get the wrong vibe from Derrick. He looks like someone who is picky with the type of people he communicates with but to me, I didn't really care.

"What took you so long?" Vanessa asked sitting on my car bonnet. "Nothing" I said smiling. I pushed Vanessa off my car as we laughed then she got in with kaysha in her car and they waited for me to pull out. I pulled out of the parking lot and we drove home.

After we got home, I threw my keys on the table and rushed to toilet. After I came back out I found the girls in the living room.

" Ely, Kay what do you guys think of the three guys who sat behind us?" Vanessa asked. "They look normal" Kaysha said. Kaysha is someone who is always straight forward and that is one reason why we are friends. I love straight forward people haha. " Van you know me I don't really care" I said looking through my Instagram. We all sat there just talking about random things and time went by so quickly.

We later went into our rooms and dressed up for the party. I wore an off shoulders black shiny gown, it had stripes at the sides and I put a black leader jacket over it. I combed my hair and left it in its Afro state. Vanessa wore a blue short gown that had a V mark around her chest area and she wore black heels. Kaysha been her simple self just wore a normal red long dress that had a split from down to her thigh area and normal heels. Then we left for the party. We decided to go with my car so we all got in and when everyone had seatbelts on I drove out of the parking lot.
