"Babe I was thinking, how about we move in together?" Derrick asked and Elyssa opened her eyes in surprise,
"Huh" she asked puzzled, "let's move in together" he repeated again.
"As in live together?" Elyssa asked again, "yes, it will be good for Javon, and you and I both study the same course so we will always study together and I wanna have you in my sight always, with our boy too" Derrick said,
Elyssa smiled, "you really have grown up haven't you" Elyssa said chuckling, "it was a dream for the girls and I to move in together for uni, I'll have to talk to them" Elyssa said and Derrick nodded, "Chris and Vanessa were also planning on moving in together" Derrick broke it and Elyssa just smiled, "we have to go for apartment hunting too" Elyssa said,
"I got everything covered, I got us the best, we can go see it tomorrow" Derrick said happily, "yay we are gonna live together" Javon screamed making the others turn their heads,
"Huh?" Tanisha asked, "Elyssa and I will move in together, in our own apartment" Derrick said and their parents faces had no reaction, "this is a big step" Derrick's mum spoke this time, "not as big as deciding to have a child, let them be, just be careful" Elyssas mum said, "I wanna see the place too and make sure it's secured" Elyssas dad said and Elyssa nodded,
"Okay dad, when are you guys leaving?" Elyssa said and asked, "tomorrow afternoon so we can go see the place in the morning" her dad said and she nodded.
Later all the others came back for dinner. Tanisha ran to the door and hugged Oliver and they gave each other a quick kiss, "everything is over and settled" Tanisha said cheerfully and her boyfriend hugged her,
"So I don't have to be worried anymore?" Oliver asked and she nodded and they hugged again, "oh young love, reminds me of us" Elyssas mum said, "ma everything reminds you of your young self" Elyssa said earning a few chuckles,
"You can't blame your mum, I myself miss those days, speaking of which Oliver, I haven't gotten to know you" Elyssas dad said, "oh no" Elyssa, Kay, Van, Mike, Chris and Derrick said in unison making Tanisha and Oliver look at them,
"You're gonna get tested, hold your grounds" Derrick whispered to Oliver, "I haven't even finished dealing with Derrick and Steven and now it's the dad, great" Oliver said not too loudly making everyone laugh,
"Well she's our youngest" Elyssas mum said, Elyssa and Derrick looked at each other and smiled, there's nothing more relaxing than seeing their families be united again,
"Mum can you watch Javon for a while? We will just talk with the crew" Elyssa walked to her mum and asked and her mum quickly took Javon pecking his cheeks earning a soft giggle from the boy.
The crew stepped to the mini bar area, "so...... I was thinking if Elyssa and I could move in together, it will be good for Javon and also we study the same course so learning will be easy" Derrick spoke, "I told him I'll have to talk with you girls first because it was our dream to live together throughout our uni life" Elyssa said,
"Elyssa you know we will support you no matter what your decision is, actually, Chris and I already found a place to move in together" Vanessa also said, "congrats Van" Elyssa said smiling,
They all turned and looked at Mike and Kay, "I found a place too. When Chris mentioned about moving with Vanessa, I figured Elyssa and Derrick might've too, I can't let Kay be all by herself or rather I don't wanna be by myself so, I went apartment hunting. I wanted to ask you but a lot was going on and I saw how you always wanted to be by Elyssas side, but now that everything is calm," Mike stoped and removed a key from his pocket,
"Would you love to move in with me?" He asked quietly and Kay smiled, "off course I will" she answered and she smiled in happiness and they hugged and kissed each other, "I'll have to see the place tho" Kay said, "actually, we all live in one building. It's a building with only four apartments, Elyssa and Derrick live across from us, Chris and Vanessa live below us and the apartment opposite them is another university couple. The apartments all have two sleeping bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms toilets included, a kitchen and an island" Mike described,
