My mum later rushed to the living room, "my baby" she said as she hugged me, "and my girls, it's been a while since we saw each other" my mum said to Kay and Van and she hugged them,

She then looked at the boys, "good morning aunty" they all said in unison like they had planned to do so,

"Good morning" my mum said returning her face to a more serious expression,

"Aunty this is Chris, my boyfriend" Van said as she introduced Chris and mum nodded,

"Aunt this is Mike, my boyfriend" Kay said, she had earlier told us she will say that to mum and dad so nothing is suspicious, again mum nodded

I looked at Derrick and he was so tensed and nervous so I just chuckled, I didn't know he could be scared of someone,

"Mum, this is Derrick...my..boyfriend" I finally said smiling

Mum looked at him from up to down then looked at me then at him again,

"So he is the one? The thief?" Mum asked, "excuse me?" Derrick asked confused,

"Yes mum he's the thief" I said, "hold on is this actually the thief you told me about?" Mum asked again,

Everyone had confused looks on their faces, "the one who stole my heart? Yes mum he's the one" I said and everyone suddenly relaxed and started laughing,

"Sorry Ricky, I had told mum about you already and I wanted to scare you" I said hugging him and he smiled,

We looked at mum and she still had a straight face, "Derrick, relax, I see you are nervous, I don't bite sweetie" mum said and I could see him relax

"it's nice to meet you Mme" Ricky said with a slight smile and all I could do was smile. "Aunty, you will call me aunty, and it's nice meeting you too sweetheart, I finally meet the person who makes my daughter excited to go back to campus when she comes to visit" mum said,

"Mum!" I screamed and she laughed, "sorry sweetie, I'm just happy you are happy. I also finally get to meet the squad, the squad who Elyssa won't stop talking about" Mum added and everyone was just smiling.

"Mum where's dad?" I asked, "he went to the office but he will be here before the party starts" she said and I nodded,

I later carried Javon, "mum, meet Javon, the boy I told you about" I said,

She looked at him for a while then suddenly extended her hand to carry him

Mum suddenly started crying and we where confused, "mum are you okay?" I asked, she didn't say anything and just hugged Javon tighter

"I'm so sorry you had to go through all those troubles, so sorry sweetheart" that was all mum could say as she hugged Javon

He hugged her back and we all could just stare in admiration. She then put him down and touched his cheek, "you are save now" she said and smiled,

I guess I took my emotions from my mother

"Mum actually I have something to talk to you about later" I said and she nodded, "come on show your friends to their rooms" mum said and I nodded,

"Oh before I forget" I said as I took Bella, "meet our Little Bella, Mikes little sister and Stephnys best friend" I said,

"Oh this is the little girl she was talking about, the sister to Kay's boyfriend" mum said smiling

I nodded and the others could only silently laugh,

She lifted Bella and gave her a hug before putting her back down
