Feelings

Derricks POV

Her phone binged and a message popped up, immediately she read the message, her face suddenly went sad.

"What's wrong?" I asked her with my hands still wrapped around her waist,

"Oh it's nothing, just my mum" she said with a faint voice

I nodded and she was about to say something but before she could finish I carried her and started running towards the pool

"Derrick no!! No" she screamed as I carried her

I couldn't help but laugh, I jumped into the pool with her and went under

As soon as we resurfaced to the top, she pushed me away but I still held tight to her on her waist,

"Sorry" I said still laughing. She smiled and later started laughing too,

"Why did I scream like that?" She asked laughing, I shook my shoulders.

Today, I am planning on telling Elyssa how I feel. I really feel something for her, like I want to be more than friends with her.

I made some few surprise arrangements with the boys and will proceed with everything this evening.

I just hope she feels the-same way as I do, cause I myself want to be sure of what we are before anything else happens.

"What are you thinking about?" She suddenly asked me as it seemed like I had been carried away with my thoughts,

"Nothing" I said smiling and placed a kiss on her forehead.

I took her and we went into the hot tub and I had her sit in between my legs and I placed my head on her shoulder

"You okay?" She asked me, "yeah, just, you smell good" I told her

She giggled, "but I didn't even shower yet" she said laughing,

"But you smell good" I repeated, "thanks" she said smiling.

We sat in the hot tub for a longer while enjoying each others warmth and presence before Mike suddenly shouted,

"guys can we start the BBQ, I'm hungry as hell" he said rubbing his stomach, Elyssa slowly tapped on my head and I removed it from her neck and she removed my hands from her waist and got up

After walking out she suddenly turned, "you coming Babe?" she asks raising her brows.

I felt my heart tingling a little at her words, what did she call me? I quickly snapped out of my thoughts,

"Mhm" I responded as I got out of the bathub

We started preparing the things and I watched her as she neately arranged everything on the machine, you see, she is just perfection, like with her, there's never an empty space, that's how I feel about this young lady.

ELYSSAS POV

After I laid the meat and chicken on the machine, I greased it then let it roast and I sat on Derricks laps

I'm still thinking about the text message I recived from my mum, its not a big deal right? should I tell Kay and Van? or maybe I can tell them when its just us

I brushed all my thoughts away so it doesn't ruin the moment. I checked the food and when it was done, everyone served themselves and I just stood there with a drumstick in my hand

"hey, you have been zoning out a lot today are you okay?" Derrick suddenly asks me, I looked at him,

"Yes" I said smiling, he nodded. After everyone finished, they went back to the pool and i stayed to arranged the area, I think my mothers cleaning spirit has entered me.
