Christams time, family time

"Mummy! Mum! Mum!" Javon screamed running into the room, I could hear as he ran from the hallway.

"Sh daddy is sleeping" I said smiling as he jumped on the bed, "someone is excited I can see that" I said smiling while hugging him,

"Steph told me about Santa, I'm excited for the gift because I never got a gift before, and I don't want anything much because I'm grateful I have a family who loves me so so much" he said making me smile more,

"Isn't my baby the sweetest, I'm so blessed to be your mother, I love you" I said smiling and kissing his forehead, "I love you too mummy" he said and I hugged him more and kept on smooching his cheeks making him giggle,

"Good morning dad" Javon said when he saw his dads eyes open over my shoulder, "good morning buddy" Derrick said while opening his arms and Javon dived to him,

"You excited?" He asked, and Javon nodded, "go play with Steph and greet your grandmas and grandpa and aunty and uncle we are coming" I said and he nodded before jumping down the bed and running out,

"I've never seen him this energetic, Stephany definitely has passed her energy to him, I like when they are together, he's so cheerful" I said still staring at the door,

"Let's just give him another sibling so he's not lonely" Derrick said making me smack his hand, "naughty" I said and we both laughed,

"Oh babe by the way I wanted to ask, how's the search going for your child" I asked while turning to face him more,

"In the area my ex was living, there were some children living in a shelter with no parents, I had the guys rescue them and take them to the foundation but I want to do a DNA test with each of them, he or she might be among them" Derrick said seriously and I nodded,

"Just tell me if you need assistance, support, anything I'll be there for you always" I said and he pulled me down to him for a hug, "when will u do it?" I asked again, "before new years" he said and I nodded,

"Imagine if you found he or she before this holidays, it would've been a very joyful one for us all" I said smiling and he nodded, "but why don't we focus on Javon now, remember we said we where gonna make this Christmas the best for him" he said and I nodded.

We gave each other a kiss and I placed my hand on my mouth, "I don't know if it's you or me, but morning breath is not cool at all" I said and we both burst out laughing.

We later went to the bathroom and brushed our teeth then went down to meet everyone, Christmas Eve in our family is game day, family day and more, and yes we go down in pjs, both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, then later in the evening we take family pictures in our family pjs, we don't do sweaters.

Derrick said since it's mostly just him, his mother and sister they eat together and everyone goes on doing their own thing, so having a full house this year will definitely be different for them, hope it's fun too.

"By the way babe I know the perfect person to play Santa" I said as I wrapped my hand around his torso and his hand on my shoulder and we where going down the stairs,

"Who?" He asked curiously, "dad" I said and we both laughed, "will he do it? Seriously?" He asked, "well last time Steven was it because it was only Stephny, but this year he got two grandkids and knowing dad, if we convince him more, he'll do it trust me" I said and we both laughed while he shook his head because he definitely doesn't believe dad will do it.
