Burn fire

I woke up to the sunlight that shined bright into the room

I still feel pains all over my body. I turned and didn't find Derrick on the bed, the balcony door was closed.

Today is our last day here at the beach house and it has been a roller coaster, I'm gonna miss this place tho

I struggled to pull myself out of the bed until I succeeded

I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face then went back into the room to take my phone and go down

My legs are still shaking from yesterday night and I feel tired

I slowly walked down the stairs and immediately I got down I heard people laughing and screaming

I walked to the kitchen and everyone was there, immediately I got in they became quiet and looked at me

"Good morning" I said smiling as I supported myself on the door frame,

"Why are you limping?" Mike asked, this mother fucker,

"Wow, what a great way to answer my greeting, I slipped in the bathroom" I responded and Derrick chuckled making everyone turn and look at him

"What? I saw her falling that's why" he said trying to hide his laugh

Kay shook her head then started walking towards me, "lies" she whispered and walked passed me making me giggle

"Oh, since today is our last day here, I was thinking let's have a burn fire, babe, invite Tanisha and the others over as well I wanna meet them again before we leave" I said

"Good idea" Chris said nodding his head and everyone else nodded,

"Okay I will call her, but are you okay? You look tired" he said looking at me

"Derrick?" I called his name in a questionable tone,

"My phone..where is it?" He quickly adverted his gaze from me and started pretending to look for his phone

"Dude it's in your hand" Kay pointed out and we all laughed

While Derrick called his sister, I helped set the breakfast on the table that had already been made

We all sat down and Derrick later joined us.

He sat beside me, "they will be here at 6pm" he said to everyone on the table

We nodded then started eating, it was noodles with soup, it taste really good,

"Who made breakfast?" I asked as I drank some soup,

"Derrick" Chris answered, I turned and looked at him,

"Lies" I said in disbelief, "I can cook in front of you someday if you want proof" he said smiling,

"I've got all the time for you" I answered back,

"Where did you learn to cook?" I asked still amazed,

"My mum, she has her own restaurant and apart from that, I was always with her when I was younger, before I started the business off course" he said drinking his soup as-well

"I bet Tanisha is a better cook than you" I said trying to hide my laugh,

"She's worse than me, the girl is too lazy to do anything" he said making everyone laugh on the table,

"How about your brother can he cook?" He asked, I looked at Kay and Vanessa and they started laughing,

"Let's not talk about him, he is a walking disaster" I said laughing,
