ITS OUR END

TWO YEARS LATER

Its been two years, two whole years. The crew are finally graduating. They matured together, grew together, suffered together. Javon is now seven years old, the more he grows the more his features became so much like his dads, and Elyssa won't stop bragging about how cool of a mum she is and how proud she is of her son.

"Babe we have to go now Steven just called everyone is at the school" Elyssa screamed from the living room, "on my way babe let me just grab something real quick" Derrick screamed back,

"Baby, are you okay?" She later turned to Javon, "yes mummy, and I'm grown now I'm not a baby anymore" Javon said happily,

"No no no, you are still mummy's baby, mummy's precious baby. Today your dad and I are graduating university, our lives will be come so much better" Elyssa said and they both smiled happily,

"And your mum and I will give you siblings" Derrick walked out saying, "just like how uncle Steven made Steph a big sister?" Javons said excitedly,

"Just like that buddy" Derrick said and Elyssa sighed and shook her head, "damn you, I'm sure the crew are on their way let's hurry" Elyssa said and they grabbed their graduation robes and cap, took one last look at the living room mirror then exiting their apartment.

The family of three walked to the parking lot to Derrick's car, after fitting Javon on his chair, he opened the door for Elyssa before walking to his side.

Arriving at their university, they walked to the hall where they saw their families and best friends.

Elyssa walked to greet van and Kay's parents, they laughed and shared jokes and they said how proud they were of the girls.

Elyssa then went to her parents, "ma, pa, I'm closing another successful chapter" Elyssa said happily.

She handed her hat over to her dad as he placed it on her head, "I'm proud of you princess and I know more good things are coming your way" her dad said and she smiled and hugged her both parents.

She then walked to Derrick's mum while Derrick walked to her parents after talking with Mike and Chris parents, "hi aunty" Elyssa greeted, "you look so gorgeous my love, congratulations" aunty rose said, "thank you so much aunty" Elyssa appreciated.

Later Oliver and Tanisha walked to everyone, "you look so fabulous big sis" Tanisha said to Elyssa and they hugged, "you look gorgeous yourself" Elyssa complimented too, "today is about you not me" Tanisha said and they chuckled.

Elyssa later greeted her brother and sister in law and they spoke. "You are growing so big Charlie" she spoke to her little nephew who is  two years old now, "you are gorgeous little sis, I'm proud of you" Chelsea spoke first, "thank you so much big sis, I remember all the advices you gave me, all those times I was struggling with my education and trying to be the perfect mum and girlfriend, thank you so much Chels" Elyssa thanked and they hugged each other.

Later the graduates walked into the hall and sat on the student sides while their families sat where families are supposed to be.

The ceremony later started and after they called best students in every program and class they finally got to Derrick and Elyssas program,

"Best overall student in the computer architecture and lab technology program, give it up for Lee Derrick Jaeyin" the principal called Derrick and everyone cheered in happiness as he walked to the stage to collect his diploma and his price.

It was now time everyone was waiting for, the valedictorian, overall best student amongst all the students in the 2024 batch of graduates, among the thousand of graduates.
