Truth, confrontation, pain

Elyssa, Derrick and Javon are at the hospital waiting for his test results, Derrick is carrying Javon because he is dizzy while Elyssa is sitting on the bench, feeling nervous about her sons health,

"Daddy, I'm tired" Javon said weakly to his dad, "I know buddy, the doctor will come soon" Derrick replied worriedly,

"My poor baby" Elyssa said rubbing his head with tears in her eyes, it breaks her to see her baby this weak and she feels useless because there's nothing she can do to make him feel better other than wait on the doctor.

Later the doctor came out, "doc?" Elyssa called, "we have prepared everything, we need a donor" the doctor-said, "I'll do it, I'm type O doctor, I'll do it" Derrick quickly said and Elyssa breath a sigh of relief,

"Okay take him into the room and change him I'll be right there, doc can you please do a DNA test on Mr Lee, and Javon? Please Doc I need it, can this be between us?" Elyssa said to Derrick then when they left into the room she pleased the doctor desperately,

He sighed, "I can't promise you I will do it without his consent but I'll try my best Miss Daniels, I'll tell you if or when I do it" the doctor said and she nodded and thanked  him then went back into the room and the doctor and Derrick went into the lab to draw out blood.

Soon they were done and they went back to the room to set it up, Elyssa was carrying Javon in her arms and he leaned into his mothers body,

"You okay?" Elyssa asked Derrick because he looked dizzy and he nodded, "he needs to rest a little" the doctor said.

After they set the blood pack and laid Javon on the bed, he fell asleep and Derrick laid on the couch in the room,

Elyssa and the doctor stepped outside, "I did it, I'll give the results to you by the end of this week" the doctor informed,

"Thank you so much doctor, when will Javon be discharged?" Elyssa thanked and asked, "in two days, we need to monitor him more" the doctor responded.

They talked a little bit more then the doctor went back to his office while Elyssa went back to Javons room.

Javon was sleeping  and Derrick was asleep as well. She looked at the both of them and smiled at how similar they looked when sleeping and where even in the-same position, 'if my intuition is right, then the apple definitely doesn't fall far from the tree' Elyssa thought to herself and chuckled.

It's been four days since Javon left the hospital. He's health is rather improving very much. It's Friday, and Elyssa doesn't have classes today so she's just home with him, the mother and son are watching tv, her phone binged with a message,

💬your DNA test is ready for a pick up💬

The moment she saw the message her heart dropped. "Vanessa can you please help watch over Javon for thirty minutes? I wanna quickly get something from the pharmacy" Elyssa asked Vanessa, "off course" Vanessa responded and Elyssa thanked her before rushing and grabbing her car keys from the table and going to her car.

While driving, she felt like she was going into a panic, nervous, scared, overreacting?. One part of her hopes it's positive and the other part hopes it's not and will give her a reason to stop doubting her lover.

She arrived at the hospital parking lot and took a deep breath before exiting her car and walking into the hospital. She arrived at the lab.

She talked with the doctor for a bit and he gave her the envelope. With shaky hands, she took it and walked back to her car, she wanted to be in a private place incase of whatever the results may be.

After sitting down in her drivers sit, she took a deep breath once more and opened the envelope, she pulled out the paper and started reading slowly until she got to the bottom,
