The talk

I was downstairs in the kitchen helping mum to make breakfast. The kids are playing in the game room, the girls are probably still sleeping and the guys went out with dad on a morning run, they will be back soon.

I still can't get last night out of my head........

I quickly snapped out of my thoughts the moment I sensed mum walk towards me,

"Are you okay?" Mum asked, "mhm, why?" I asked back,

"You seem to be zoning out and thinking too much" mum said and I looked at her,

"Ma it's nothing" I said and she still gave me the look of 'I don't believe you but ok'.

Mum and I finally finished making breakfast and I called everyone to the table.

"Good morning grandma, good morning grandpa" Steph said as she walked to mum and dad, "good morning sunshine" mum replied and dad gave her a kiss on her forehead.

"Good morning sir, good morning Mme" Javon greeted and my parents smile fell but they later smiled back, "good morning buddy" dad said and mum gave him a kiss on his forehead too,

"Good morning Stephnys grandma and grandpa" Bella greeted making a few of us laugh, "Good morning baby Bella" mum said and she hugged dad,

Everyone sat on the table, including Steve and Chelsea, they both slept here as well,

"Hung over?" I whispered to Derrick as he sat down beside me and we both laughed,

"When are you guys leaving?" Dad asked, "tomorrow evening pops" I said and he nodded. Before dad could say anything else Steve quickly said,

"Dad I know what you're thinking, but no. Chelsea and I already invited them to our place you will have them back in the evening" Steve said making us laugh,

"You're so fast aren't you?" Dad asked and earned a few chuckles from the table,

"We can let the youth grown ups have fun, why don't we take the little ones to the park? Or we can take them to the company? You know kids get fascinated with the least things I'm sure they will love it there" mum said,

"Yes we can do that, I actually have a little bit of work to finish, then we will go to the park" dad said and mum nodded.

"Oh mum, dad, can we talk after breakfast" I said and they nodded, they didn't ask because I believe they know why I want to talk to them.

We continued eating, there was chatting here and there, Ricky teasing me, me pinching his hand when he puts it on my thigh and starts rubbing it.

I then felt someone looking at me and when I turned, it was Ricky,

"What?" I asked while whispering, "even if you look messy right now, you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen" he whispered back earning a wide smiling from me,

"Stop lying" I said chuckling and whispering back, "I'm serious, it's like I want to devour you right now" Ricky said again,

"Ricky!" I screamed his name but in a whispering manner.

The table suddenly went silent and when we carried our heads to look up, everyone was staring at us.

I smiled awkwardly and Ricky scratched his hair in an awkward manner,

"I see you love birds" mum said smiling, "Ma come on, stop now" I said smiling,

"Aunty you are gonna get used to them, that's how they are even back home" Mike said and I shot him a death stare and his smile faded,

"I love what I'm seeing. Seeing everyone happy, makes me more than happy, I mean look at me, my table is full of happy faces, happy young couples" mum said smiling and I could only shake my head,
