School start

I woke up to the moving noises i heard in the leaving room, when i turned and looked over at Kay and Van, they where still asleep so i thought maybe the guys where about to leave.

I sneaked out of the room and went into the leaving room to find Mike and Chris putting on their shoes while derrick was already standing at the door prepared to leave. he had his hands in his pockets and he was staring into space.

"guys we begin class at 11am why don't you guys just join us for breakfast?. I will cook". i said looking at them. Chris stoped wearing his shoes and looked at me "nothing beats my love for food. Derrick you can go if you want we will just meet you there". Chris said.

without saying word, Derrick hissed and started walking but i rushed and stopped him. I tapped him on his shoulder and he turned and looked at me like he was going to slap me or something so i moved two steps backwards and asked him.

" I know you really want to go home but can you atleast stay for breakfast? yes we are not friends but by the time you guys get home it will be late for you eat something since you have to prepare for class" i said. He raised and eyebrow then looked at me "yeah sure" that was the only thing he said before walking back into the apartment.

While i was trying to set the table up with what i made, there was a heated argument between Chris and the girls. I do not know what they where arguing about but what i do know is it must be something stupid.

Chris seamed liked this goofy type of person that jokes all the time but one thing i know for sure bout this kind of people is once they get mad its best to stay away from them.

I just made some omelets, bread and mayonnaise then i made everyone a cup of hot cappuccino each.

"Guys I am done. please come to the table". i said. Without even completing my statement i heard Chris rush out of excitement to the table.

Everyone started eating and we talked a little bit over the food but Derrick was completely silent during the whole discussion. As much as I wanted him to get engaged in this disscussion, he looked like someone who wanted his peace and when he is quiet he doesn't like to get interrupted.

"when are you going to stop staring?". Derrick asked me, i just shook my shoulders and got to eating.

" So what subjects are you guys taking" i asked everyone, " i have biology, physics, advanced Chemistry advanced level maths and lab tecknique" Mike answered me. "I suggest you and Chris? since you take thesame course". Kay asked. "yeah"they answered together. "what about you Derrick?" Vannessa asked him. " I take computer science, physics, advanced maths and computer lab teck." he said

I choked on my cappuccino as he finished talking and i looked at him. " what" he asked me, "I take the same classes as you,all the classes" i ultered. "oh impressive. But i thought only people with great intelligence could do all this subjects, cause you look like a very dormant person." he said to me.

I shot him a dead glare across the table and he carried his hands up in surrender. After Kaysha and Vanessa said the subjects they where taking, we talked for a little while before i got up and started cleaning.

After that we said good bye to the guys as they left and i rushed into the bathroom. After taking a fresh warm bath, I wore my clothes. I just wore some leggings and an over sized t-shirts and matched it with my favorite sneakers. I did light make up and put my hair in a low ponytail and left my room

"Girls are you guys ready?" i screamed from the leaving room, " yes we are" they answered coming out of their room. " what is your first class this morning?" Vannesa asked " i have advanced math" I said, " i have ecology" kay said then vanessa noded " i have business maths" she concluded.

We left the apartment ready for school as i got into my car and Kaysha and Vanessa got into hers. Vanessa mostly of the time took rides with Kaysha because their department was kind of close so yeah.

After driving for a while i finally came to a stop at school parking and getting out i noticed this shiny jeep wrangler parked by where i parked. That was my dream car and wondered which student will have that kind of money to buy such a car at university.

I just had a Jeep renegade, i mean it might be expensive but it's very casual and cozy compared to a jeep wrangler. The windows of the car was tinted and i assumed no one was inside the car.

After just standing there lost in thoughts the window of the car suddenly winned down and when i shook out of my thoughts i looked and found an angry Derrick.

He looked at me straight in my eyes and i looked back and after what felt like eternity i thought he was about to scold me for looking into his car or something. " i am sorry if i stared too long" i said walking out of the parking lot.

I heard the car door shut and i felt someone walking behind me. I was really in a good mood this morning until i saw Derrick and somehow my mood just changed.

We walked together to class and the walk was very quiet and awkward. We got into school and located our class.

Going into the class, I knew there was no turning back so I will just have to cope with this until the next 4years I think. Wow the stress coming my way.

I walked into the class and sat down on the second to the last row from the back and later when Derrick walked in people started murmuring and girls where smiling at him.

This was so weird because I thought all this shit will remain in high school but not everyone can change I guess.

"Would you like to sit with me", one girl asked him as she took her bag off the chair.

Without saying anything, he walked to my table and took my bag off the chair as he sat down with a straight face.

I heard the girls behind me grumble and I just shook my shoulders and got back to reality.

The teacher got in and we introduced ourselves before we started the class. As much as I hated math, I had no choice but to do it. I mean it's not that bad and every time I solve for something the answer is always right but sometimes when I get the answer wrong, then I get faded and I feel like throwing my book across the classroom.

I turned and looked at Derrick and he looked so peaceful solving his math equations. "Damn he has a very attractive side profile". Wait why am I saying this??.

Time past by and class was over and we got to the school cafeteria for lunch. I spotted Vanessa and Kaysha and I went over and sat with them.

"So how waa your first class?"I asked them. "Oh my God it was so exciting and everyone in my class is so nice" Vanessa happily answered me. "How about you Kay". With kaysha been herself, she just shook her shoulders and answered "nothing much I don't care about shit in that class and some people already look annoying" we laughed and we continued eating.

Soon we finished and we all went back to our different departments. I love the fact that even tho we all are busy, we can still eat lunch together sometimes.

The day flew by so fast and we went home. I freshened up, made dinner with the girls we ate, and we discussed a little bit as we ate. "Oh I forgot to tell you guys, the moment we got into class, all the girls went crazy for Derrick" I said and they started laughing. " I mean he is cute who wouldn't go crazy for him" Vanessa answered. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Ohh I applied for some part time jobs online. For the three of us I knew you guys would forget so while I did mine I did for u guys too" I conclude. " thank you so much you are such a darling" Vanessa said.

We finished our food, cleaned up and went into our rooms.

I was just staring at the star lights on my ceiling and I hoped the universe will somehow favor me to take the right path.
