UUUUUCCCCKKKKK...

"Am I going with you or just getting you there and back?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes. More sleepy less grumpy now, that's....better. I guess? Whatever, focus Jesse.
"Ideally going with me and my family to get them."
"Whoa family? You have siblings?"
"Yeah. They..." he took a breath clearly annoyed. "They call themselves the Party Ponies. Contrary to their elected name however, they're also quite adept with weapons."
"I see...you know I'm like the total opposite right?"
"You have your knife, and I heard you're pretty good with it."
"That was instinct not skill. And it was against a mechanical spider with the help of 3 others, not hardened demigods and monsters."
"Good thing you have backup and strong battle instincts then. Now..." Chiron said completely armored and turning to me. "Put this one and let's go. My siblings are already here and waiting."
I was handed some thick armor and I sighed as I put it on.
"Thank the gods I'm a Titan otherwise this would be a pain to move around in. Just a second Chiron i need my knife."
Running to the cabin I rummaged through my bag and grabbed it before running back.
"We're going too," a significantly sized group of demigods said running up to us. Maybe 10-15 of them in addition to the 10 Party Ponies. Wow...kids of not just Ares, but also Artemis, Athena, even Hephaestus and Apollo. Their parents symbol somehow visible. Erin was also among them alongside Thalia.
"You're sure?" I asked, my concern hopefully crystal clear. A son of Athena grinned at me and nodded.
"Like Mr. D said Jesse, ye a little faith."
"Okay," I nod and I sensed while Chiron wanted to protest he actually didn't. "Just make sure none of you die on me."
I closed my eyes and when I opened them everyone was on this well...very very large ship with me. Thing's basically a cruise. Unsheathing my knife I was caught a little off guard with how much power I felt from it. "It'll only be as strong as I let it," I recited quietly with a small nod. Unintentionally gasping hard and gripping my chest, my legs trembling as did my arms. "Steady Jesse. Steady. Not the time for a panic attack. Find your courage," I muttered under my breath. I felt a significant wave of my youngest brother's energy. "I can do this."
"Jesse?" Chiron said hurriedly as I heard several feet approaching.
"Let's just get this done."
"Okay. Me, my siblings, and the demigods will hold off the monsters. You take Thalia and get Percy, Annabeth, and Grover. Bring them back and we'll go. Clear?"
"Yes sir. Let's go."
Thalia followed me into the lower deck of the ship. I feel them, somewhere in the lower center of the ship.
"Lower center," I said as I heard the clashing of a significant amount of weapons behind us. More monsters too, a lot of'em. Lovely. I feel his presence too. It's very close to the trio.
Come on Jesse, now's really really not the time for fear. Push on. "Okay. Let's do this."
"What's got you so on edge?"
Looking back at Thalia I sighed and nodded ahead.
"I feel my youngest brother's energy on the ship. It's nowhere near even the general vicinity of the ball park of what it was back then but...it's still utterly terrifying. I haven't been physically near any Titan in a very very long time and so being near him first is not...it's not fun."
"You're talking about Kronos aren't you?"
I froze as she said his name out loud, a ragged breath escaping my mouth.
"Yeah. Now come on, let's go."
Deeper and deeper we went, 3 Minotaurs ahead alongside a shaggy looking centaur and a few demigods. Kids of Hermès by the looks of it. Probably 4 of them.
"9 of them," I whispered to Thalia as we hid behind a wall and some crates. She peaked out and then leaned back and nodded.
"I'll try keep them busy. You get past them and find them," Thalia said as she went to go out but I gently pulled her back and shook my head.
"No. Other way around, I'll take care of them. You just got a second chance at living. I'm not letting you trash it straight out of the gate." She looked at me in surprise and I gulped. I'm so not ready for this. "On 3. 1, 2...fuck it 3!" Breaking into a run out into the open and straight towards them. "This is your one chance all of you! Please take it and go. Let us through, I don't want to hurt any of you. You have my word I'll leave you be. Please do not fight. You will lose."
All I got back was roars from the Minotaurs, snickers from the demigods, and a war cry from the centaur as he charged me, now aimed at my chest.
I threw my knife at the Centaur's head but missed by a wide margin and it only sliced his side before sticking into a wall. I heard him shout with rage and aim his bow at me, letting an arrow lose. I didn't feel it but it stuck into the armor, dead center. I jumped into the air my right fist aimed at his chest which connected and he smashed into the wall at least 40 feet away with a loud thud. He didn't get up, and I saw blood leaking from his head. The 3 Minotaurs rushed me, axes raised above their heads.
Rolling to my left on my side I was able to dodge them. 2 of the 4 demigods looked like they wanted to rush me too, but they're too terrified to make a move it looks like. The other 2 didn't wanted to run but didn't. I don't have time at the moment to take care of them. The center Minotaur had his axe now stuck into the ground where I'd been, the other 2 in either side of him had abandoned theirs. One went for a crate to presumably throw and the other lowered his horns and charged. I charged him right back, yanking my knife out of the wall on my way. Slamming my right shoulder and side into his upper chest and head he flew into the other wall, making a significant dent in it before falling to the ground on his stomach. Just before the 2nd one threw the crate my knife pierced his chest, knocking him up off the ground and sent him flying back into the other remaining one. Both of them flying into a large stack of metal crates. The one on top shook his head violently side to side as my knife appears back in my hand, clean of his blood. His left arm dangling at his side limply, clearly broken and no longer even attached to its socket. Just held to his body by skin. The one he'd landed on impaled by metal shrapnel and not moving.
"Don't do it, be smart. Walk away."
He bellowed weakly clearly in a lot of pain. His feet shaking and his breathing heavy. "Please, don't do this. I don't want to hurt you. I didn't wanna hurt them." I said and he lowered his horns seemingly one last time. I don't know if he'll even be able to reach me, let alone do any damage. "Don't be prideful just give up. You have my word I won't hurt you. I'll leave you be," I shouted and I felt the demigods almost shock. "You're hurt! Just stop!" My vision's getting really blurry, my voice actually broke as I shouted at him. He...he charged me, wailing in pain as he did so, I was right he collapsed onto his stomach after about 20ft. Never even really got any true momentum going either. I heard a weak pitifully soft growl as he closed his eyes.
"I can't do it. I can't let you die...I won't." I walked over to him, putting my hands on his left arm and ribs. He's barely alive maybe seconds left. The others, I can't help them. They're dead. At the very least though, I can save this one. My hands glowed a bright light blue and I heard his ribs grow back and correct themselves. I saw his skin tighten up as his arm went back into its socket, and reconnecting. His other minor injuries fixed too. "You should be fine now big guy. Just rest." I pet his back after his eyes opened briefly, looking up at me.  I followed his eyes as he looked around at the now disintegrating bodies of his comrades. "I'm sorry, I couldn't heal them in time." His eyes landed on me one final time. I smiled at him as feeling his regret followed by gratefulness and peacefulness. "Thank you." Scratching behind his ears then gently petting his head, I stood up after I felt his body relax. He's asleep. I looked over at the 4 teenagers who looked back in sheer shock and confusion. "I'm going to follow that girl from earlier now. You look after him."
I ran after Thalia, down the stairs and through a room of dead and or near death monsters. Thalia looked back at me as i appears next to her.
"We close?"
"Yeah just around here...oh," I said as I saw who I'm guessing is Luke in front of us. Looking behind him I saw a sarcophagus and then to his left a cell containing Tyson and the trio.
"I didn't realize...well that makes sense I suppose. You've been helping that camp and the demigods haven't you big brother?" Luke says looking at me.
"Jesse?" Thalia called and I looked at her. "Jesse I've been calling your name for the past 5 seconds. Get a grip!"
"But...I..."
"He's still too scared of me to function daughter of Zeus. Honestly, I'd forgotten you existed Issusius. Even back in the old days I and our brethren rarely ever saw you." I can't move...I can't talk. I'd forgotten how unfathomably horrified I was and am in his presence. My body won't stop shaking, my legs feeling like they're going to give out. "Have you nothing to say?" He waited another couple seconds, his smirk, his eyes, all fixated on me. "No? Well I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. You always were unbearably pathetic and weak. Afraid of anything violent or aggressive! The only things you interacted with were those ugly horrendous atrocities. Before I tossed them back into the pit, I remember how you wailed like a babe. It was quite amusing."
"Let them go Luke!" Thalia shouted and he laughed. "Jesse you gotta move! We have to help them!" Thalia shouted angrily.
"Oh it's Jesse now? Will you fight me to save them then Jesse? I welcome it, it'd be astounding to see you do something, anything in fact that's warrior like."
Block him out Jess! Block it. Focus focus FOCUS! He's possessing this Luke, meaning he's not at full power. He's still extremely limited, unlike me.
Best I can tell that sarcophagus is holding something probably very important to him since he's right by it. Okay, all I gotta do is free them by breaking that barrier he has them in, then I can get us all back to camp.
I threw my knife at the barrier and it bounced off reappearing in my hand, still the barrier I sensed weakened ever so slightly. Okay...I understand now. I don't need to beat him I just need to get the barrier down. Kronos laughed hard as he glanced from the barrier back to me. "If you won't attack that is fine. Because I will!" He charged me with his sword in hand.
I can't afford to draw this out, I'm too rusty. I'll lose.
"Thalia get out of here. Tell Chiron and the others to be ready."
"Wha...you're gonna need me!" She shouted as I rolled out of the way. "You can't win this on your own."
"GO NOW!" I shouted and she gulped but nodded.
"GUYS GET AS FAR BACK AS YOU CAN AND LOOK AWAY!" I shouted to Tyson, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover.
Please go okay! I crossed both my fingers as I looked directly at Luke and the sarcophagus. As soon as I opened my eyes I saw him running towards the sarcophagus and cover it with his whole body. The barrier guarding my friends blew away. As soon as it did i closed my eyes, and when I opened them again we and the others were back at camp.
"Thank you thank you thank you!"
That's the first time since the first war I've attempted to use my divine form. Thankfully I accidentally fucked it up. Which in tandem with Kronos' barrier is why everyone survived. If I'd actually focused and done it correctly everything short of a God or Titan I'm pretty sure would be dead. Even still, I'm super tired again. Mentally and emotionally only, but still. I could really use and would really like a nap. But first, I looked back at everyone who looked okay enough to leave alone for the moment. I even managed to bring back the Hermès kids and that Minotaur.
"Seems no one needs immediate attention. Good then it's shower and nap time." I mumbled.
Showers first.
After getting in one I let the steam out as much as possible. "This feels incredible," I muttered as the water hit my skin. My muscles relaxed too, most of the tension and divine adrenaline gone now as well.
Now! Imma get ready for that nap! I turned off the water and got dressed before walking outside and towards and into the cabin. "Hello bed!" I said with a sigh as I got into it, pulling the covers over me.
"Jesse?" A few voices called and I put a pillow over my head. "Jesse?" I pressed the pillow harder against me. "Jess?" I have earplugs right? Please tell me I do.
"Let him sleep. He's been through what I think is his version of a lot. We should leave him alone till he's ready," Thalia said said and the voices died down.
